Introduction to Yong Opera

Yong Opera, formerly known as "Tan Ke", is a pool of spring water in Ningbo. It is one of the local operas of the Han nationality that originated in Ningbo, Zhejiang, and is popular in eastern Zhejiang and Shanghai. It belongs to the Tanchun Opera system, just like Zhejiang Opera and Hu Opera. In 2008, Yong Opera was selected into the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
