Who are the immortals worshipped by Taoism?

There are many immortals in Taoist belief, among which the main immortals are:

Zhenwu Emperor: The highest Taoist deity, one of the famous martial artists and philosophers in ancient China.

Sanqing: The three highest gods in Taoism, Yuan God, Tai Shang Lao Jun and Moral God, are in charge of the gods and things in heaven, earth and man respectively.

Five immortals: Oriental Dragon, Western White Tiger, Southern Suzaku, Northern Xuanwu and Central Yellow Emperor, representing five elements, five sides, five colors and five flavors respectively.

Twenty-four immortals: Twenty-four immortals, including Jin Wu, Yin Wu, Qinglong, White Tiger, Suzaku and Xuanwu, are in charge of human affairs.

Thirty-six plough: the so-called "plough" in Taoism, that is, the stars in the sky, consists of 28 huts and three walls (the wall refers to the Big Dipper), which is an important god in Taoism to defend against ghosts.

Eight Immortals: The Eight Immortals, including Han Xiangzi, Zhang, Lan Cai He, He Xiangu, Cao Guojiu and Han Zhongli, have their own magical powers and are models of Taoist cultivation.
