What should I pay attention to when I go to a resident's house to tell my fortune and ward off evil spirits?
Not superstitious. Feng shui is a science.
brief introduction
The word feng shui originated in Fuxi era. According to the simple map developed by Taihao Fuxi, it is inferred that the earth has a period of geomantic omen. "Su Wen Classic" records: "Yan Di said: one fog, two geomantic omen, three landscapes, four hills, five rivers, six rivers, seven small rivers, eight water shortages and nine water shortages." Feng Shui, also known as Feng Shui, painting house, green bag and landscape art, is an important part of oriental mysticism.
Guo Pu, a native of A Jin, said in the ancient book "Buried Classics": "Qi dissipates by the wind, and the boundary water stops. The ancients gathered to make it, but stopped it, so it was called Feng Shui. The method of feng shui, water is the best, followed by Tibetan wind. "
Known as geomantic omen, also known as geomantic omen, geomantic omen and geomantic omen, it is a metaphysical technology with a long history in China. Geomantic omen is one of the five techniques, and its basic composition comes from the Book of Changes, which is divided into two methods: keeping the well stove and observing the sand and water at the dragon point. Its main schools are trichotomy, trichotomy and nine-planet method.
Kanyu has the meaning of phase and divination, in which "exploration" means "exploration" and means investigation; "Yu" originally refers to the carriage, which means load, and is cited as territory and tunnel. The ancients in China thought it was heaven, earth and tunnel, and honesty was the way of heaven and earth, with a high status. Honesty is the body, feng shui is the use.
In 2005, the China Architectural Culture Center of the Ministry of Construction established the China Architectural Geomantic Culture Expert Committee (J < 2005 & gt77) with researcher Xu Shaoshan as the secretary-general, and held the first official Geomantic Training Course in China in 2005. On August 5th, 2008, Chengkan Village, Anhui Province was approved by Huangshan Municipal Government and became the first village in China to apply for the Feng Shui Heritage.

[Edit this paragraph] Feng Shui props
compass
Feng Shui master thinks that the compass is a rational operation tool, which is mainly composed of a magnetic needle and a series of concentric circles located in the center of the disc. Each circle represents the ancient China people's understanding of a certain level of information in the cosmic system.
landscape
Feng shui masters believe that water represents wealth; When the living room is decorated with landscape paintings, we must pay attention to the fact that the direction of water flow in the painting cannot face the door or outside the house, and the direction of water flow is best in the master bedroom and inside the house. In particular, don't put pictures of "Wan" and "Tiger Going Down the Mountain" in the bedroom, otherwise it will easily destroy the harmony between husband and wife.
Fengshui sword
Fengshui sword
Feng Shui masters believe that there are many kinds of Feng Shui swords. Seven-star sword, peach blossom sword or other swords are mainly used to restrain the suffocation of sharp corners and telephone poles outside the house and avoid lawsuits. It should be noted that the Feng Shui sword does not need to be edged, or even should not be edged, because the edged sword is sharp and easy to hurt people, while the blunt sword does not hurt people, but it can still drive away evil spirits.
the eight trigrams mirror
the eight trigrams mirror
Feng Shui master thinks that the mirror's function of turning evil into right is really first-class. Walking in the street, it is easy to find the gossip mirror hanging on the eaves wall. Pay attention to three points when hanging the Eight Diagrams Mirror: 1 and 12 noon; 2. Turn on the light; 3, the direction of reflection should not be shot at other people's homes, and don't transfer your home to other people's homes.
Feng Shuigang
Fengshui fish
Feng Shui master thinks that raising a basin of Feng Shui fish is a well-known traffic change method. But because of its simplicity, people feel that fish farming is effective. In fact, there are quite a few points for attention in fish farming, including that if you want to make money, you must put it in the bright financial position, that is, the diagonal of the home door; As long as you take good care of the fish, you won't get sick and die easily.
Pictures of gods and buddhas
Feng Shui master thought that people would frame the portraits of this deity and Buddha to go home for worship, but he didn't know that it would take the mage's opening to ask this deity and Buddha to have this portrait. Because it is said that bad filth, evil spirits and evil ways may have the form of gods and buddhas, which will destroy the luck of worshippers who burn incense.
pot culture
Feng Shui master believes that there are many potted plants that can turn dry Kun around and bring good luck, among which money bamboo, malabaric chestnut and orchid are the top plants that everyone likes to use. When these auspicious potted plants have withered flowers and leaves, they must be replaced immediately to continue to gather gas.
wind bell
Feng Shui master thinks that the sound of wind chimes colliding is crisp and loud, and the lovely shape attracts many people's love. Wind chimes in geomantic omen are tools to ward off evil spirits, especially suitable for hanging at the entrance of the gate. But don't hang it in the children's study or master bedroom, because listening to the sound of wind chimes for a long time will make people impatient.
Shi Xiang Rui beast
Shi Xiang Rui beast
Feng Shui masters believe that lions, deer, horses, dragons, unicorns, money-biting toads and raccoons are auspicious lions and beasts, which will be taken into account when changing Feng Shui. Lions, Kirin and money-eating toads must face the door, indicating that they will make money from all directions. However, the running direction and head of the deer and horse should face the house, representing the auspicious god entering the house.
[Edit this paragraph] Feng Shui School
There is a great misunderstanding in the division of Feng Shui schools in history: it is wrong and unrealistic to divide Feng Shui schools into situational schools and rational schools. It doesn't make any practical sense. And it is easy to lead people astray.
In fact, no matter which school, as long as it is not a deceptive pseudo-feng shui, it insists that the situation is the body of feng shui and regulating qi is the basic principle of feng shui.
The division of Feng Shui schools is actually formed by different methods of regulating qi.
In the method of regulating qi, it can be roughly divided into two schools, with several branches.
The school that directly uses gossip and hexagrams to manage qi is the hexagram school. Including Bazhai School, Kong Xuan Xing Fei School (there are six schools with more than 100 primary schools), Qimen Feng Shui, Heluo Feng Shui, Dayuan Yi Li School, Jinsuo Guan Yu and so on.
The school that adopted the principles of Hetu, Luoshu, Bagua, Yin and Yang and Five Elements in past dynasties is the Five Elements School. Including Yang Gong Feng Shui, New Trinity School, Numerology Feng Shui, Zhengwuxing Feng Shui, etc.
At present, Feng Shui in China has developed into many schools of Feng Shui, and each school of Feng Shui has different theories. The following is a detailed introduction for you:
(1) Luan Tou School: (1) Situational School (2) Imagist School (3) Formal School.
(two styles:
(1) Bazhai School (2) Numerology School (3) Sanhe School (4) Fangua School (5) Xing Fei School (6) Wuxing School (7) Kong Xuanda Gua School (8) Bagua School (9) Nine Planets Flying Bo School.
(10) Qimen Sect (1 1) Yang Zhai Sanyao Sect (12) Ershantou Sect (13) Su Xing Sect (14) Jinsuo Guanyu Sect.
First, the principle of situational schools
When it comes to the school of situation, people will think of Guan Ju and Guo Pu, the founders of Feng Shui, who used the situation to discuss good or bad luck. The situation school emphasizes the geographical situation, mainly dragons, caves, sand and water, and always stresses the ancient and fierce. Although the Situational School is divided into three factions: Luan Tou School, Xiang School and Xing Fa School, in fact, these three factions are interrelated and not completely separated.
1, Luantou School. Luan Tou represents the situation of mountains and rivers in nature, and Luan Tou in natural geography includes dragons, sand and mountains. Dragon refers to the mountain that extends out in the distance? ; Sand refers to the hills within 360 degrees around the cave site; A mountain refers to a mountain peak far away from the cave.
2. Image school. Image is actually a very profound knowledge in Feng Shui, because it visually regards the mountain as an animal or other object. For example, a mountain is shaped like a lion. There are many names about images, such as Beauty Looking in the Mirror, Seven Stars Accompanied by the Moon and so on.
3. Form and law school. Shape method refers to some laws in Liutou Jing, which is developed on the basis of image school, and mainly discusses the law of cooperation between image and acupoint field. For example, there is a way to hedge with the cave field, which the metaphysical school calls "an arrow goes through the heart".
In short, you can't see the image without the mountain (Luantou): you can't see the mountain without the image and shape. In many places with high mountains in China, many geomancers attach great importance to the images of mountains and Luantou because of their great influence.
Second, rational style is also called house school or ternary rational style. Due to the rational style, almost all the theoretical viewpoints of Yin-Yang, Five Elements, Eight Diagrams, River Map, Luoshu, Astrology, Shensha, Yin Na, Qimen and Liu Ren were brought into its argumentation principle, forming a very complicated geomantic theory. It is precisely because the management style is too complicated that many small sects are divided. It is precisely because of this that people who study Feng Shui should pay special attention to their choices, otherwise they will not learn anything, but may also make disastrous Feng Shui.
The following author introduces the theories of some sects, which is not only helpful for beginners to choose, but also helpful for those who have already studied Feng Shui.
1, Bazhai School. There are only two points in the Eight Houses School: one is to sit on the Youxing Mountain and talk about good and bad luck. The so-called wandering stars are: crouching, heavenly doctor, angry, four auspicious stars and five ghosts, despair, evil, six evil spirits and four evil stars. According to the ups and downs of Bagua Mountain in the house, eight stars respectively coincide with this wandering star in the direction of innate gossip, which is auspicious and ominous. Second, according to the residence gossip, it is divided into Dongsi House and Xisi House, and combined with human life, that is, Dongsi Life matches Dongsi House and Xisi Life matches Xisi House. Generally speaking, the calculation of divination of Bazhai School is based on the annual expenditure. In other words, if people born in the same year are of the same sex, their divination is the same, and their feng shui layout is the same. So what? Millions of people are born a year. According to the geomantic view of Bazhai School, they all have one thing in common. Therefore, the geomantic theory of Bazhai School is too simple and rough. In particular, the point of view that the fate of things matches the East Fourth Hospital and the fate of the West Fourth Hospital is even more rough and difficult to be accurate. Readers who want to learn Feng Shui should never copy it by mistake. However, it is still of reference value to talk about the good or ill luck of wandering stars, the way of cooperating with mysterious flying stars or the indoor layout. I will discuss the specific usage later.
2.numerology. Using the five elements of the owner's life and the five elements of twenty-four mountains and flying stars in the sky to arrange geomantic omen, combined with decorative colors, has important guiding significance for indoor decoration and geomantic omen adjustment of various houses.
3. Sanhe School and twenty-four Shantou Schools. On the basis of landscape, the relationship between Twenty-four Mountains and Songjia Mountain was discussed. The so-called "sitting on the mountain" actually refers to the relationship between the five elements sitting on a compass and the peaks or buildings outside the house. Divide water is to discuss good or bad luck with the twelfth birthday. In numerology, the twelve immortals are longevity, bathing, wearing a crown, being an official, prosperity, decline, illness, death, burial, death, giving birth and raising. Generally speaking, there is a difference between the upward distribution of water and the coming and going of water, which is mainly used in yin houses. However, in the Sanhe school, the upward distribution of water and the twelve birthday stars are a mixed image of yin and yang, which often leads to deviation in application. Therefore, the author reminds Yi You, who is studying Feng Shui, that the twelve immortals should not run out of water, but should distinguish between Yin and Yang, and it is good to match them.
4. turn over the hexagrams. Dig out the nine planetary hexagrams with gossip, and then discuss good and bad luck with landscape. There are several ways to change hexagrams, such as the auxiliary star hexagrams, also called the revolving hexagrams of Huangshi, which are based on the following figures: Wolf-greedy, Giant Gate, Lucun, Wen Qu, Lian Zhen, Wu Qu, Pojun, Zuo Fu and Youbi.
5. Kong Xuan Xing Fei School. It is to transport the mountain-to-mountain coordination element to the mountain-to-mountain coordination element to see if the internal layout of water-to-mountain coordination is good or bad. The so-called nine planets refer to: one white is the wolf of Kan, one black is the giant gate of Kun, three green is the treasure of earthquake, four green is Xunzhi, three green is, six white is, seven red is, eight white is the left of Gen, and nine purple is the right of Li. The essence of metaphysics is to pay attention to the rise and fall of Yuan Yun, as well as the restraint of the nine numbers 1-9 and the coordination of likes and dislikes in fate. As long as readers can grasp this point, even if metaphysics has been introduced, generally speaking, it can also adjust indoor feng shui for people. But to grasp the true essence of metaphysics, of course, we must study deeply.
6. Stars. The Star School refers to Kang Jinlong, Stone Rabbit Raccoon, Fang Ri Rabbit, Heart Moon Fox and Tail Fire Tiger, which represent the five elements respectively. According to the theory of sitting orientation, it is mainly used to favor the twenty-four bears.
The author will not introduce Qimen, Wuxing Sect, Metaphysics Divination Sect, Jinsuo Yuguan Sect and Ziwei Dagu Sect in a rational style here.
Strictly speaking, the Feng Shui school is a situational school and a rational school. Their theories also permeate and blend with each other, which means that all laws belong to sects. Therefore, learning Feng Shui should absorb the essence of two schools. It is necessary to master rational style and absorb the essence of situational school. However, because there are many schools of geomantic omen, which are useful and useless, learners must discard the false and retain the true, take the rough and extract the fine, and don't go into the misunderstanding of geomantic omen.
We can't completely deny the schools of Feng Shui, nor can we synthesize the theories and operational skills of various schools of Feng Shui. Persisting in practice is the only criterion for testing truth, eliminating the false and preserving the true, and eliminating the rough and selecting the fine. The field of feng shui needs to be thoroughly cleaned up, and the ancient mystery of feng shui should not be left to future generations!
[Edit this paragraph] Origin and development
The formation of geomantic omen in China has a long history, which can be traced back to ancient times.
primitive society
Although there was no geomantic omen, due to the survival challenges brought by the harsh natural environment and the value of the farming and animal husbandry society, people at that time had to "choose a place to live" and choose a place that was "near the water and rising in the sun" and suitable for human reproduction. This is an adaptive choice. After entering the civilized society, Feng Shui was immediately recorded in written records, such as Oracle Bone Inscriptions, where there are many records about the house. From a large number of Oracle Bone Inscriptions and The Book of Songs unearthed in later generations, it can be seen that in Shang and Zhou Dynasties, China people divided land areas into different landforms such as mountains, harbors, hills, plains, tombs and hills, and divided water areas into rivers, springs, rivers, streams, marshes, rivers and streams. At that time, they classified the differences of the earth very carefully, which is the development of "Xiangxue" in the future. In Shangshu, the territory at that time was divided into Kyushu by rivers and mountains, which is also the origin of the name "Kyushu" in China. In "Zhou Li", a passage appeared: "Take the method of suitable soil, use two kinds of soil to do famous things, use houses to unload their interests, enrich the people, care for birds and animals, and care for vegetation." The term "Xiang Min's House" began to appear, and a knowledge system of "adapting to local conditions" appeared. "Yizhoushu" contains "everything can be cured when the soil is suitable for the weather". It can be seen that the word "the soil is suitable for the weather" echoes the weather. Attaching the sky to the ground was the rule that all things obeyed at that time, and it was also the method of governing things, which therefore became the basis of Feng Shui in later generations. In the Zhou Dynasty, when Zhou Wuwang built Luoyi, he ordered the Duke of Zhou to inspect the land. It is recorded in Shangshu that "Zhao Gong loves me, loves my dog, and Duke Zhou went to camp for a week, so he sent a message." It can be seen that people in the Zhou Dynasty believed in divination, and Duke Zhou was also a master of physiognomy.
Warring States period and pre-Qin period
With the development and prevalence of Zhouyi and the theory of Yin-Yang and Five Elements, various academic thoughts began to be established, with "looking up to the sky and leaning down to geography" as the leading factor. After Qin Shihuang unified China, he not only inherited the previous concept of "soil suitability" but also became more specific, and at the same time began to have the concept of "qi". From the Book of Jin, we know that "when the emperor first observed the spirit, he said,' Jinling will have the spirit of the emperor in 500 years', so the emperor invaded the east to suppress it, changed its land to the edge, and cut the northern mountain to the extreme." At that time, there was a saying that "it is irritating", which shows that there are professional workers in the Feng Shui industry. According to Volume 95 of Taiping Universe, there was a mountain in Changshui County (now south of Jiaxing County, Zhejiang Province) in the Qin Dynasty. Qin Shihuang heard the warlock say that there was a king on the mountain, so he sent a group of death row prisoners to dig the mountain. The prisoners couldn't stand the hard work and dispersed in a hubbub.
Qin dynasty
The Epang Palace, built by Qin Shihuang, covers an area of nearly 300 Li, with valleys all over the palace, Nanshan as the gate and Fan Chuan as the pool. The front hall of Afang can seat nearly ten thousand people. At the beginning, the royal family used 700 thousand civilian workers to dig out Mount Li and go deep into the three rest areas. The scale is unprecedented. There is also the first Mausoleum, which covers a wide area and has a large scale. The implementation of these two projects shows that the landform level of Qin dynasty is very high, from which it is not difficult to understand the superb geographical survey technology of Qin dynasty, and it can also be attributed to the developed landform. In fact, as early as the pre-Qin period, there were house-hunting activities, on the one hand, it was the residence of the living, on the other hand, it was the cemetery of the dead. "Shangshu" contains "A prosperous king wants to stay in the city, so that Zhao Gong can stay in the government first." This is the Xiangyang building. "The Book of Filial Piety" contains "predicting the omen of his house but not hearing it." This is Xiangyin House, and the location was chosen by divination.
Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-25 AD)
Technology is relatively more popular. According to Sima Qian's historical records, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty got together and asked if anyone could marry him, but Kanyujia saidno. At this time, Kanyujia was proficient in astronomy and geography, and physiognomy was also called "physiognomy". In the Eastern Han Dynasty, people began to pay attention to funeral, which led to the rise of the concept of Feng Shui. Wang Chong's Lun Heng described the funeral taboo in detail. People in the Eastern Han Dynasty paid great attention to the living environment. The theory of "let the house have fertile fields and broad houses, with the hills facing the water, ditches and ponds looking around, bamboo and wood paved around, gardens built in front and orchards built behind trees" mentioned in the Book of the Later Han Dynasty has become the basic theory of later houses. There are also some geomantic works in Han Dynasty, such as "The Golden Chamber of Kanyu", "Terrain of Palace House", "Migration Law" and "Art of Painting Academy", which indicate that geomantic omen has been preliminarily summarized in theory.
Wei and Jin dynasties
There are many Feng Shui masters in China, the most famous of which is Guo Pu. His Funeral Book draws on the art of Feng Shui from the traditional art of Feng Shui, defines the art of Feng Shui, constructs the theory of Feng Shui in an all-round way, and lays the foundation for the art of Feng Shui in later generations. The "geomantic omen" initiated by him, water comes first, followed by Tibetan wind, has been circulated for more than 1,700 years, and it is even more brilliant today. China people used to call Guo Pu the originator of Feng Shui.
Sui dynasty
Comparatively speaking, I don't believe in geomantic omen, but I have a famous master of geomantic omen, Xiao Ji, who wrote such famous works as Treasure of Geomantic omen, House Classic, Buried Classic and Justice of Five Elements, which are admired by later generations. He once chose a lucky place for the queen. The emperor did not listen to his advice and predicted that the luck of the Sui Dynasty would not last long. When Yang Gongren, the prime minister of Sui Dynasty, moved to his ancestral grave, he invited five or six groups of Feng Shui masters to see the land. One of them, Shu Chuo, was rewarded for guessing what was underground. It can be seen that Feng Shui was still prevalent at that time.
the Tang Dynasty
In the rare heyday in China's history, various kinds of academics also rose widely, which further promoted the development of Feng Shui theory and formed a relatively perfect theoretical system. At that time, most literate people knew Feng Shui, and a large number of famous teachers appeared. Among them, Yang Junsong, a geomantic master of Jiangxi School, played a comprehensive role in promoting folk geomantic exploration and mentoring practice. Since then, palaces, villages and tombs have been influenced by the theory of geomantic omen to varying degrees in the vast land of China. The famous Tang Xuanzong also believed in geomantic omen, and there are many records of geomantic omen in Datang Xinyu and Taiping Guangji. At that time, Taoist priests also knew Feng Shui very well. In the Tang dynasty, there was a "division" who looked at the astronomical phenomena, so the officials of the division must know Feng Shui. Yang Junsong worked as a prison in Sitian, and Tang Xizong made him a Buddhist. The official was Dr. Jin Guanglu, who was in charge of the geography of Lingtai. It can be seen that the geomantic omen in the Tang Dynasty was not only believed by the people, but also valued by the imperial court. Yang Junsong later spread the palace geomantic book in Jiangxi, and disciple Yingmen had a great response. The national strength of the Tang Dynasty was strong, and its territory expanded to the western regions. We can find The House Classic and The Book of Yin and Yang in Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, and we can see that the concept of Feng Shui has spread far and wide in the northwest.
Five Dynasties and Ten States
Following the prosperity of the concept of geomantic omen in the Tang Dynasty, emperors of all dynasties believed in geomantic omen, and in recent weeks, geomantic omen has been added with many superstitious colors, making it difficult for the world to distinguish between true and false.
Song dynasty
Famous Yi-ology scholars Chen Tuan, Zhu, Cai, etc. interpreted and identified Feng Shui, and published some Feng Shui works one after another, forming a theoretical system of Feng Shui with Jiangxi School of Form and Fujian School of Philosophy as the main body. Song Huizong believes in Feng Shui. He has no children. A warlock told him that if the terrain in the northwest corner of the capital was raised several times, he would get a child, so he ordered people to do it and got a child. Therefore, they believed in geomantic omen more, and ordered people to choose a treasure land and build the "Shangqing Baozhuan Palace". As a result, people and money were empty, the national treasury was empty, and even the regime fell. There were many Feng Shui masters in Song Dynasty, such as Lai Wenjun, Chen Tuan, Xu, Wu Jinglian, Fu and Cai.
tomorrow
When Zhu Yuanzhang established Jinling as the capital, he attached great importance to geomantic omen. Most of the mountains outside the city face the city and tend to bend towards the arch. Only Niushou Mountain and Huashan Mountain are backed by the city wall. Zhu Yuanzhang was unhappy, so he sent people to beat Niushoushan with a hundred sticks and cut a hole in the wall of the cow with iron rope, which made Niushoushan turn inward. At the same time, due to a large number of logging on Huashan Mountain, the mountain became bald and yellow. When the Ming Dynasty became an ancestor, it moved its capital to Beijing, which was built in full accordance with the concept of geomantic omen. Cheng Zu of Ming Dynasty was an emperor who believed in geomantic omen, which led all people to attach importance to geomantic omen, and geomantic omen became a very important criterion in Ming people's life. The Ming Tombs, a famous scenic spot in Beijing, was recommended to Ming by Liao, a master of geomantic omen, and became the mausoleum area of the Ming emperor. There was also a legend Liu Bowen in the Ming Dynasty. According to folklore, he is good at Feng Shui, saying that Jinling, his capital, is the place where he looks, and a book called Splendid Land is named after him.
Ching Dynasty
There is a celestial supervisor who is not only responsible for observing astronomical phenomena, but also for building tombs, because the emperors of the Qing Dynasty believed in geomantic omen and attached great importance to the location of tombs. The Qing Dongling Mausoleum is 125 km long from north to south and 26 km wide from east to west, covering three suburban counties in Beijing with a total area of 2,500 square kilometers. It is an extremely huge royal cemetery, which shows that the Qing emperor attached importance to the feng shui of the mausoleum. The Forbidden City, which has been well preserved so far, is a classic masterpiece built in strict accordance with Feng Shui, and its majestic momentum has conquered many people in the world. There were also Buddhist mansions in the Qing Dynasty, with more than 400 Buddhist teachers. Because of their generous salaries, these Buddhist teachers devoted their lives to the dynasty and the emperor. Guo Shifu's tasks are: first, to find a good geomantic land for the dynasty and arrange its use; The second is to destroy the geomantic omen of folk geography, so that people dare not resist the court and cannot seize the throne. This is an example of feudal rulers using intangible geography and geomantic science as ruling tools.
Throughout history, the pre-Qin period was the gestation period of Feng Shui theory, the Song Dynasty was the prevailing period, and the Ming and Qing Dynasties were the flooding period.
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, through the collection and arrangement of various Feng Shui books and the continuous exploration and research of scholars, the theory of Feng Shui has been quite complete. Feng Shui master's reconnaissance activities cover all kinds of places from imperial palaces to urban and rural houses.
From the Republic of China to the present
Scholars mainly reevaluate and study the traditional Feng Shui culture in China. In the last century, Feng Shui had a great market in old China. The mausoleum of Sun Yat-sen, the founding father of our country, was determined by the famous geomantic master Shen Zhu after repeated investigations. After liberation, Feng Shui theory suffered a heavy blow and continued to exist as a custom. After 1970s, Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, Europe and the United States set off an upsurge of "learning" China's geomantic omen, which led to more and more foreigners using geomantic omen theory to guide their lives. Nowadays, a large number of "scholars" regard modern science as feudal superstition to better "develop" Feng Shui and interpret it as "environmental science", which is really a waste of time.
[Edit this paragraph] Home Feng Shui
When choosing the living environment in ancient geomantic omen, it was often thought that the best place was "surrounded by mountains and water" and "hiding wind and gathering gas". "Relying on mountains and rivers" is directly nourished by the spirit of beautiful mountains and rivers, and it is an ideal choice from the perspectives of magnetic field, aesthetics and psychology. Ancient nobles lived in seclusion in forests and valleys, and rich residents in developed countries traveled between mountains and rivers, all of which won our three flavors of Feng Shui. However, there are too few beautiful places, and the residential areas in cities are often between buildings, roads and factories. Under such conditions, we have to consider it from the perspective of "hiding wind and gathering gas". In ancient geomantic omen, site selection is a very complicated matter, which not only requires a lot, but also has differences and differences among various geomantic omen schools. More importantly, strictly speaking, everyone's ideal feng shui model is different, not "lucky" and "fierce".
wall clock
In traditional geomantic omen, some halls and rooms, especially comprehensive offices, need wall clocks. Hanging a clock in such a place can have five functions, one is to make money into treasure, the other is to ward off evil spirits, the third is to help the master's fortune, the fourth is to manage subordinates, and the fifth is the most basic function of clocks and watches to calculate time. This doesn't mean that you can buy a clock at will and put it in one place. If you hang it in the wrong place, it will be counterproductive. Generally speaking, the front of the clock should not face inward, and it is better to face the door or balcony.
goldfish
Feng shui master thinks keeping goldfish at home. Goldfish is often called feng shui fish, which can make up for the lack of feng shui in the home and make the house full of vitality. However, it must be noted that the size of the fish tank should be moderate, and other sundries should not be piled up around it, nor should it be directly facing the stove, because the stove belongs to fire and likes water. And there can be no dead fish, and the statue of God of Wealth can't be put on the fish tank, because the water in the fish tank will make the fortune unstable. The color and variety of fish should consider the proportion of five elements to see if it is in harmony with the owner.
green plant
Feng Shui master thinks that indoor green plants should be placed. Rich bamboo and trees can be placed in the living room, symbolizing vitality and producing oxygen, which is beneficial to the living room. Remember: the flowers of the four seasons don't have to be forced, but they must be evergreen all the year round. If it withers, it should be replaced immediately to avoid affecting the fortune.
air
Feng Shui master believes that no matter whether the room is inhabited or not, the doors and windows in the room should be always open and normally closed, so that the momentum can circulate and the air is fresh, so that "running water does not rot and the doors are not clumsy". In addition, the door should not be too big, revealing wealth.
Room color
The feng shui master thinks the color of the room. White, yellow, blue and green are the best colors in the room, and wood colors are acceptable, but black is forbidden and gray is rarely used. The color of the ceiling should be light rather than heavy, because the ceiling symbolizes the "sky", and the color is of course light. Generally speaking, white, light yellow and light blue are the main colors, symbolizing the blue sky and white clouds. The color of the floor should be darker to meet the meaning of weight.
