Brief introduction of Jianchuan ancient town in Yunnan

Jianchuan Ancient Town in Yunnan is Shaxi Ancient Town in Jianchuan County, located between Dali and Lijiang. It was founded in the Yuan Dynasty and has a history of more than 650 years.

Jianchuan ancient city is not as famous as Dali, Lijiang or even shaxi town, but it is a living ancient city. Up to now, 90% of the indigenous residents still live in the ancient city.

1, Jianchuan Shiqian (Manxianlin) Scenic Area

Manxianlin moved to the west of Jianchuan County, Dali, at 1.5 km, with a total area of 3.5 square kilometers. Man Xianlin, formerly known as Mang Xie Ling, also known as Mang Xie Ling or Maixian Forest, is an important part of Jianhu provincial scenic spot.

2. Shaxi Xingjiao Temple

Shaxi Xingjiao Temple, a Bai Buddhist temple in Ming Dynasty-Xingjiao Temple. It is the only remaining Bai Buddhist temple in China in the Ming Dynasty. It was built in the 13th year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (14 15).

It is located on the sunny slope of Aofeng Mountain in Shaxi Sideng Town, Jianchuan County, Yunnan Province. Existing main hall and secondary hall. 3. Shi Zhongshan Grottoes

Shi Zhongshan Grottoes, located in Shi Baoshan, Jianchuan County, Yunnan Province, were unearthed from 738 to 1253, and there are a few works from the Yuan and Ming Dynasties. There are beautiful mountains and rugged rocks here. Shi Baoshan in March is covered with green mountains and tree-lined paths.
