Zhao Kuangyin Fortune Telling Truth _ What is Zhao Kuangyin Fortune Telling Truth?
If we want to talk about the first historical mystery in the Northern Song Dynasty, it is the death of Song Taizu Zhao Kuangyin. In 976 AD, Zhao Kuangyin, who was only fifty years old, died in the Palace Hall of Long Live without warning on the evening of October 20th of the lunar calendar. His death was so sudden and legendary. Even in the official history book of the Song Dynasty, only 12 words were left: "Ugly evening, the emperor collapsed in the Hall of Long Live, at the age of 50". Therefore, until 1000 years later, there are still people with different views arguing about it, which has become a historical puzzle that has not been revealed so far.
The alliance of the golden chamber first appeared in September of the lunar calendar in 98 1 year. Chai Yuxi, the former chief of staff, suddenly reported Yin He, the king of Qin, on charges of "being arrogant and domineering, and there must be schemes to steal hair" (History of Song Dynasty). Zhao Tingmei is the younger brother of Taizong Zhao Kuangyin and Taizong Zhao Guangyi. To judge whether Zhao Tingmei is unfaithful, we have to mention a key figure, that is, Zhao Pu.
Zhao Pu was born into an official family. After helping Zhao Kuangyin launch the "Chen Qiao mutiny", he served as a bachelor of the Privy Council and a Tang Dynasty envoy, and was re-elected as prime minister for ten years. Zhao Pu was ambitious and far-sighted, and cooperated with Zhao Kuangyin seamlessly at any time. Zhao Kuangyin also trusted the counselor who helped him ascend to the throne.
After Li Yu destroyed the country in the later Tang Dynasty, he gave Zhao Pu 52,000 pieces of silver to put in a good word before the emperor. Zhao Pu did not dare to accept Li Yu's bribe, and gave it directly to Zhao Kuangyin. Zhao Kuangyin returned it to Zhao Pu and told Zhao Pu not to forget to write and thank Li Yu. After a while, when Li Yu came to Zhao Kuangyin, Zhao Kuangyin was very happy, so he rewarded Li Yu with some gold. The amount of this gold is not less than 52,000. Li Yu realized that the emperor knew about the money he gave to Zhao Pu.
Zhao Kuangyin once went to Zhao Pu's house and saw ten bottles lying in the corner. Zhao Pu said that this is seafood given to him by King Qian Chu of wuyue. Open on see, all gold, frighten Zhao Pu hurriedly knelt down and confessing. Zhao Kuangyin laughed: "Take it, he estimates that everything in the world is drawn up by you!"
From here, we can see that Zhao Kuangyin still quite trusts Zhao Pu at this time. However, as Zhao Pu became more and more powerful, Zhao Kuangyin began to fear him. After Zhao Pu accepted the gold from King Qian Chu of wuyue, he began to build his own mansion in Beijing. It's no big deal, and the emperor will not ask. At that time, the government banned the private sale of timber from Shaanxi and Gansu, so Zhao Pu sent government officials to buy it and then shipped it to Beijing. The beadle took the opportunity to steal firewood and sold it in Beijing under the banner of Zhao Pu. When Zhao Kuangyin knew this, he was very angry and wanted to drive Zhao Pu out of Beijing.
And at this time, Zhao Pu and Tang became children in-laws. Li Chong holds the relieving power, while Zhao Pu holds the relative power. If the two of them unite, they will control the military and political power of the country, which Zhao Kuangyin will definitely not tolerate. Although Zhao Kuangyin didn't punish Zhao Pu in this matter, he just found a reason to demote Li Chong.
Zhao Kuangyin's attitude towards Zhao Pu made Lu Duoxun, an academician, see the clue, so he sued Zhao Pu again and again, not to say that Zhao Pu was corrupt, but that Zhao Pu indulged his men to run amok. So Zhao Kuangyin went down the slope, drove Zhao Pu out of the capital, hung up the title of Prime Minister, and transferred him to our time in the three cities of Heyang.
When Chai Yuxi and others reported that Zhao Tingmei, the king of Qin, was arrogant and scheming, Zhao Guangyi summoned Zhao Pu, who had returned to Beijing as an idle official, to ask. Zhao Pu, who has been in officialdom all his life, knows that his promotion opportunity has arrived. He told Zhao Guangyi that he was willing to find out the truth for the emperor and fabricated a "Golden Chamber Alliance" at will to provide evidence for the legitimacy of Zhao Guangyi's accession to the throne.
According to Li Daochang's History as a Mirror, in February of the second year of Stegosaurus (AD 96 1 year), Du Taihou knew that his life was near, so he called Zhao Kuangyin, Zhao Pu and others into the palace to be ordered. The Queen Mother asked Zhao Kuangyin, "Do you know how you got this world?" Zhao Kuangyin choked: "This is all about Zukao and Empress Dowager Jade Qing!" Du Taihou said, "No! That's because the Chai family made a child a monarch, and the ministers refused to accept it. If there is an older monarch in the coming week, how can there be a chance? You and Guangyi were born to me. In a hundred years, they should be passed on to your brother. This is the blessing of the country. " Zhao Kuangyin cried bitterly and said, "How dare I not listen to your instructions!" He turned to Zhao Pu and said, "Write down what we said!" So Zhao Pu wrote an affidavit in front of Du Taihou's sickbed, and signed it at the end of the article: "Shangshu". Zhao Kuangyin personally put it in the throne room and gave it to a reliable imperial secretary for safekeeping.
This is the famous "Golden Chamber Alliance" in history.
After listening to Zhao Pu's words, Zhao Guangyi found the synopsis of the golden chamber in the palace. When he opened it, he found an affidavit. He was overjoyed and sincerely apologized for not reusing Zhao Pu. As a result, Zhao Pu was re-used, promoted to Situ and Shi Zhong, and was the highest prime minister in the early Northern Song Dynasty. Later, he was named Liang Guogong.
The emergence of "Golden Chamber Alliance" made Zhao Guangyi's succession reasonable, and people's original doubts about his succession were swept away. For a long time, no one doubted its authenticity. It was recorded in The History of Song Dynasty, The Story of Surabaya by Sima Guang and Zi Zhi Tong Jian by Li Tao. In particular, some historical critics in the Ming Dynasty accepted this statement.
The query about "synopsis of the Golden Chamber" originated from a monk's description of Zhao Kuangyin's death. He recorded in the Records of Shan Ye in Hunan that Zhao Kuangyin and Zhao Guangyi met a Taoist when they were young. The Taoist priest worked miracles and accurately predicted the date of Chen Qiao's rebellion and Zhao Kuangyin's proclaimed himself emperor. After Zhao Kuangyin became emperor, many people tried to find the Taoist priest, but they couldn't find him. When Zhao Kuangyin was fifty years old, Taoist priests appeared again. Zhao Kuangyin was very happy when he met his old friend and asked him how long he lived.
The Taoist priest said: "This year1on the evening of October 20th, if the weather is fine, Your Majesty can live for another 12 years;" If not, please prepare for the funeral! On this day, Zhao Kuangyin boarded Taiqing Pavilion with uneasy feelings and looked up at the sky. The weather is clear and the stars are shining. He felt very happy. Unexpectedly, the sky suddenly changed, and heavy snow fell from the sky with hail. So he called Zhao Guangyi, the king of Jin, and drove away the maids and eunuchs. The two of them are drinking in the palace. People standing outside saw through the window that Zhao Guangyi was an alcoholic, so they all withdrew. In the middle of the night, the two men went outside and the snow had accumulated for several feet. Zhao Kuangyin cleared the snow with an axe and shouted, "Work hard, work hard. "
Then, Zhao Kuangyin went back to the bedroom to sleep, snoring like thunder. By the fifth watch, I found the emperor "as jade as a bath", but he was already dead. Zhao Guangyi in the palace, for the sake of Song Taizong, immediately accepted his brother's wishes and acceded to the throne in front of his brother's coffin.
Therefore, some experts think that "the sound of candles and axes" is just an excuse for Zhao Guangyi to usurp the throne. If Zhao Kuangyin really feels that time is running out and needs to arrange a funeral, it is impossible to call Zhao Guangyi alone. As for the guards who saw the concession in Zhao Guangyi several times while drinking outdoors, Zhao Kuangyin and Yufu pricked snow together, which is a true portrayal of the life-and-death struggle between Zhao Guangyi and Zhao Kuangyin. Zhao Kuangyin never imagined that his second brother, who has always been gentle and kind, would be so eager to sit on the supreme throne and kill him.
Another fact is that when Zhao Kuangyin died, his two sons were both adults and healthy, and they were the legal heirs to the throne. Why did he destroy the inheritance system of "father died and son succeeded" and pass it on to his younger brother instead of his younger son? More strangely, after Zhao Guangyi succeeded to the throne, he wanted to prove the legitimacy of his throne through his own achievements, and launched the famous Battle of Gaolianghe ambitiously to recover the sixteen states ceded to Liao by Shi Jingtang, the "Second Emperor". In the Battle of Gaolianghe, Zhao Guangyi was defeated and died. After Zhao Guangyi fled back, he heard that during his loss of contact with the army, someone wanted Zhao Dezhao, the eldest son of Zhao Kuangyin, to be emperor. Zhao Guangyi blamed Zhao Dezhao without investigating the matter, which eventually led to Zhao Dezhao being forced to commit suicide. Two years after Zhao Dezhao committed suicide, his second son, Zhao Fangde, also died mysteriously, and the cause of death still pointed to Zhao Guangyi.
It is in this unfavorable situation that Zhao Guangyi found depressed Zhao Pu and fabricated the lie of "synopsis of the golden chamber".
No matter whether Zhao Guangyi gained the throne through legal channels or not, no matter whether Zhao Kuangyin died of illness and anger or at the hands of his brother, no one knows the details. However, it is very clear that the death of Zhao Kuangyin did have a far-reaching impact on the Northern Song Dynasty, which opened the historical prelude to the repeated wars and defeats in the Song Dynasty.
