Brief Introduction of Miao Zhen School

The exotic flowers in many schools of Taoism are the continuation of the Zhuangzi School in the Warring States Period, which is closely related to the Taoist school of philosophy and is the inheritor and practitioner of the metaphysical school. With the emergence and development of Taoism in the Middle Ages, Zhuangzi was regarded as the incarnation of Taiyi God to save suffering. Advocate to return to nature and live in seclusion in the mountains. In terms of doctrine, it emphasizes participation in the true meaning, and advocates adopting Zhuang's theories of "observing one", "sitting and forgetting", "approaching truth" and "regulating breath" and taking natural medicinal materials to achieve the purpose of prolonging life and integrating heaven and man into immortality, and at the same time, it is combined with the technique of true art, that is, the improvement of artistic accomplishment such as poetry, painting and music.

Zhuangzi was regarded as the embodiment of Taiyi God to save suffering, and worshipped Taiyi God as the patriarch. He talked about the southern motto "no one is invisible, no work is nameless", and advocated seclusion and not competing with the world. Therefore, the traces of immortals in historical classics are often ethereal and unknown to the world. The Song Dynasty was the heyday of Miao Zhendao, and famous leaders such as Chen Jingyuan and Shu Boxiu further inherited, perfected and developed Zhuangzi Thought. Now the head of the esoteric biography is Yan Xuanyi. Tsinghua Cave in Jining, Shandong Province and Yuntai Mountain in Jiaozuo, Henan Province are one of the dharma altars of Miao Zhen School.
