Where is Xiayi County?

Xiayi County is located in the east of Henan Province, the southeast of Shangqiu City, the upper reaches of Tuohe River, and the junction of Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces. The county has a total area of 148 1 km2, a total population of 920,000, and governs Xiayi industrial cluster and 24 townships. Xiayi is the ancestral home of Confucius, a great politician, thinker and educator. Confucius visited Li Yin for many times, and there is a Confucius Temple 5 kilometers north of the county seat. Xiayi is the ancient capital of China, the ancestral home of China and one of the cradles of Yellow River culture. Xiayi was the main capital of the middle Xia Dynasty. Xia and Shang Dynasties were dangerous places, and Li County was in Qin Dynasty. It was called Xiayi in the Northern Wei Dynasty and renamed Xiayi at the end of Jin Dynasty, meaning "City of China", which has been in use ever since. There are some Neolithic cultural sites, such as Liang Qing, Lisangudui, Craftsman Valley and Chongguang Temple, and some cultural sites, such as the place where Shang Tang prayed for rain. Xiayi is the east gate of Henan Province and an important material distribution center at the junction of Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces. Longhai Railway, Zhengzhou-Xuzhou High-speed Railway, Lianhuo Expressway and National Highway 3 10 pass through the territory.
