(3) Measure the uniformity of the separation intensity mixed-phase system on a small scale. During the mixing operation, mixed micelles with different sizes and concentrations exist in the mixed solution. The difference between the micelle concentration and the average concentration of these mixtures is the separation strength. The smaller the separation intensity, the more fully the materials are mixed, and the more blurred the interface between clusters (see figure). When the mixed materials have reached the ideal mixing state through molecular diffusion, that is, the so-called molecular scale uniformity, the separation intensity is zero.

In the mixing equipment, the overall flow of fluid is used to improve the uniformity of the mixing system, while turbulent pulsation reduces the separation scale and intensity.
