The paradox of fortune tellers

I think the fortune-telling I learned is determined by my personality. Not the kind shown on TV. . . Even if someone really has the ability to see the disaster, it will not end well. Is that large-scale things cannot be changed. I remember that there was a prophetess in America who predicted all kinds of disasters and saved her loved ones.
