1. In the urban area of Pingyu County, a thousand-year-old Sophora japonica stands on the east side of the middle section of Sophora japonica Street, with lush foliage and a tree diameter of more than 3 meters. It was struck by lightning several times and burned, but it still stands proudly in the world. Therefore, Pingyu County was named Guhuai Town. This tree was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit by the county government in 1983;

2. Yuedan Bridge is located at the south gate of Pingyu County, with Yuedan Pavilion in the east, Xita Temple in the west and Xiaoqing River in the south. In order to benefit the people and the city, Xu Shao and Xu Jing brothers, famous figures in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, funded and raised donations from local people and built a three-hole stone bridge with a length of 30 meters and a width of 5 meters. Therefore, the bridge is located on the west side of Yuedan Pavilion, which is the only way to Yuedan Pavilion, hence the name Yuedan Bridge.
