What does it mean to hang a plaque of Awen Kui?

Hanging the Wen Kui plaque refers to the cultural relics of the Qing Dynasty, which is 226 cm long and 87 cm high. Painted with gold "Wen Kui" horizontal plaque, this plaque is the assistant minister of Ministry of War and the right deputy governor of Fujian Douchayuan. The military affairs of the prefect was established by Deng Qingzhen, the 57th juren in the fifty-fourth year of Qianlong.

All the characters in the plaque are made in the form of silver carvings and lacquer gold, which are quite well preserved and very precious. Among them, "Kui" lacks an apostrophe, which is mostly interpreted as modesty, not getting ahead, and being less ghost. Now it is collected in Fujian Folk Museum.
