In Chen Youliang at the end of Yuan Dynasty, where are the descendants now?

The ancient emperor was the head of a country and had supreme power, so he was called "the real dragon son of heaven". In folklore, the founding emperors of past dynasties were born differently from ordinary people, and most of them had visions from heaven. For example, at the end of Yuan Dynasty, Chen Youliang, who once claimed to be the emperor, was born with a vision from heaven.

Chen Youliang, a native of mian yang, Hubei Province at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, was originally surnamed Xie. Because his grandfather adopted the Chen family, he had to change his surname to Chen. In order to make a living, Chen Youliang has been fishing with his parents by the river since he was a child, so he can bear hardships. Later, he studied for several years. In his twenties, Chen Youliang met Mr. Feng Shui once. After seeing his grandfather's grave, Mr. Feng Shui smiled and said to Chen Youliang, "Your grandfather's grave is very feng shui, and your future is limitless."

Chen Youliang was very happy. At that time, he became a small official in yamen through various relationships. Although he works hard and conscientiously, he has never been promoted. Gradually he saw the darkness of the imperial court and the corruption of the officialdom. To this end, he has been looking for opportunities to get ahead.

Soon, people in dire straits got up to survive. Chen Youliang, who has been looking for "great cause", resolutely joined the Rebel Army and chose to follow Xu Shouhui's Rebel Army. Through hard work, Chen Youliang gained the appreciation of Xu Shouhui and became a heavily armed general.

With the increase of power, Chen Youliang came up with the idea of replacing it. First, get rid of Xu Shouhui's confidant generals with one move, put Xu Shouhui overhead, and then hold him hostage to call himself Hanwang.

In A.D. 1360, after Chen Youliang conquered Taiping City, he ordered people to kill Xu Shouhui, held a ceremony to ascend the throne, and established a weighing system.

Because proclaimed himself too hasty, some departments would suggest whether Chen Youliang should "suspend", and as a result, Chen Youliang went her own way. It is reported that Chen Youliang.

When he ascended the throne, the clear sky in Wan Li suddenly became violent and it rained cats and dogs. One of the ministers was the first fortune teller. He knew the art of divination. He calculated and sighed, "In three years, a great disaster will happen."

In everyone's surprise, he chose to float away. Facts have proved that his inferences are true. Three years later, 1363, 44-year-old Chen Youliang was defeated in the battle of Poyang Lake, and Chen Youliang was shot dead by an arrow in the disorderly army.

After Chen Youliang's death, his son Chen Li later surrendered to Zhu Yuanzhang. When Zhu Yuanzhang saw that Chen Li was stupid, he said to him 12: "I won't kill you, Daming's finance, you can take it yourself."

But later, the ministers made suggestions, saying that Chen Li was easily bewitched by traitors, so he should plan ahead and get rid of it as soon as possible. In the fifth year of Hongwu, Zhu Yuanzhang sent Chen Li and Chen Youliang's relatives and friends to North Korea and lived a very miserable life. Shi Yuyu's "Qiantang Song" clearly stipulates that Chen Youliang's descendants can only live on water and fish for a living. It is not allowed to own land and farmland, nor is it allowed for men and women to marry. The realm is very tragic. There is no subsequent record.

During the reign of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty, Yong Sun Baek, Governor of Huguang, mentioned in his memorial that Chen Youliang's descendants: Chen Youliang's legacy was divided into two surnames, Kehe, which were located in Wuning, Jiangxi and Xingguo, Huguang, and it had been a disaster for 300 years since the Ming Dynasty. This is the first time that a descendant of the royal family has been officially recognized. Experts also agree that Chen Youliang's descendants did survive, and there are many.

It seems that Chen Youliang's descendants are not only in South Korea, but also in China. In the 1980s, Chenzhai Village, Yiyang County, Luoyang, caused an uproar. After the archaeologists arrived at the scene, they first lamented that the name of this village came from Chen Youliang's surname.

According to legend, after Chen Youliang's death, his ninth concubine, Jiang, lived in Yiyang in order to avoid Zhu Yuanzhang's pursuit, and later gave birth to a baby boy named Chen Yi. Chen Yiren was tall, courageous and resourceful, at the age of 73. His son erected a monument for him, and the inscription recorded that he was born in Hongwu, his great-grandfather was virtuous, his great-grandfather was rich and his father was kind and tolerant. There are descendants of Chen Youliang's younger brother Chen, as well as the imperial edict and genealogy of Hanwang.

In order to survive safely in the Ming Dynasty, they had to remain anonymous and simply remove their surnames. After the establishment of the Qing Dynasty, they restored their original surnames. It is said that there was an ancestral motto: after death, the tombstone inscription must be surnamed Chen.
