Where is Qingzhou Mihe National Wetland Park?

Qingzhou Mihe National Wetland Park is a national wetland park.

Mihe Cultural Tourism Resort National Wetland Park starts from the south of the new South Ring Road in Qingzhou City 1 km in the south and ends at the Ji Jiao Railway Freight Line in the north, with a total length of11.8km. The total park area is 1 100 hectares, of which the wetland area is 83 1 hectare.

Mihe River is the mother river of Qingzhou City. In 1980s and 1990s, due to the disorderly exploitation of sand resources and sewage discharge, the wetland ecosystem was seriously damaged. Starting from 20 10, Qingzhou city started with pollution control, water control and returning farmland to wetlands to carry out comprehensive ecological management of Mihe River. An ecological construction project of Mihe River aimed at restoring ecological wetlands and creating a livable environment has begun. At present, 60 million yuan has been invested to build a 1 Mihe sewage treatment plant, which can treat 50,000 tons of sewage every day and lay 59,900 meters of sewage pipes, which will supply domestic sewage and industrial wastewater along the river.

The overall planning of Mihe Cultural Tourism Resort Wetland Park is divided into ecological conservation area, ecological restoration area, popular science education area, rational utilization area and management service area. The construction of national wetland park will play a positive role in protecting and improving the wildlife habitat in Mihe area, protecting the integrity and biodiversity of wetland ecosystem, improving the level of basic service facilities in Mihe cultural tourism resort and promoting the development of tourism.
