Who invented writing?

Cang Xie invented it.

The Chinese characters used by China people (in fact, far more than China people) were created by Cang Xie. Nowadays, among all kinds of computer Chinese character input methods widely used in the world, one is called "Cang Xie Chinese character input method".

As the "originator of Chinese characters", Cang Xie has been respected not only by Chinese at home and abroad, but also by the world for thousands of years. Located in Wang Ji Township, Yucheng County, Shangqiu City, Cangjie Tomb welcomes an endless stream of domestic and foreign tourists every day.

Cang Xie is the official historian of the Yellow Emperor. In order to record things and convey information, the Yellow Emperor ordered him to create characters. Cang Xie first invented hieroglyphics. Later, because hieroglyphics could not meet people's needs, he invented knowing words, pictophonetic words and so on. It has made great contributions to the progress of human civilization. Huangdi attached great importance to Cang Xie's contribution to the invention and popularization of Chinese characters. After Cang Xie died, he ordered him to be buried in a hanging coffin.

Extended data:

It is said that Cang Xie "began to change the book contract into a rope". Before this, people used to tie up with ropes to take notes, big and small, and tie things together into a chain. Because the knots that record historical facts have different shapes, it is difficult to identify them for a long time. Cang Xie recorded the knots incorrectly in the history books, which made the Yellow Emperor lose the negotiation with Emperor Yan.

So many times, Cang Xie deeply felt that knots and wood carvings could no longer meet the needs of current affairs, so he decided to create a better way to take notes. He has been thinking hard all day, but he has no clue. One day, it snowed heavily. He got up early and went hunting in the mountains. He saw that all the mountains and plains were wrapped in silver.

Suddenly, two pheasants appeared in the forest foraging in the snow, leaving two lines of paw prints where they passed, and then a deer jumped out and left clear paw prints on the snow. Cang Xie was so absorbed in this that he completely forgot to hunt. He compared the paw prints of pheasants and deer and found that they were different in shape.

So he thought, printing chicken feet is called chicken, and printing deer feet is called deer. Everything in the world, as long as its pictogram is drawn, is it not a word? Thought of here, Cang Xie bliss.

After that, he returned to his hometown Baishui (now Baishui County, Shaanxi Province) and lived alone in a corner. He "watches the joy of Kuixing and the traces of birds and animals' hooves", sorts out materials, creates various symbols representing everything in the world, and sets the meaning of each symbol. Cang Xie succeeded in coining words, but something strange happened. That day, it rained like millet during the day, and at night, I heard ghosts crying.

As more and more hieroglyphs are created, it takes a lot of thought where to write them. Stone tips, boards and skins are not suitable. One day, someone caught a chinemys reevesii and asked Cang Xie to write characters for it. Cang Xie looked at the tortoise carefully and found Fang Gezi neatly arranged on its back. He made the word "turtle" according to the hieroglyphics of the turtle, and then carved the word in the Fang Gezi on the turtle's back.

The tortoise felt pain because of the lettering on his back, so he climbed into the river while people were unprepared. Three years later, this turtle with words on its back was caught in another place. People told Cang Xie that the words carved on the turtle's back were not washed away by the water, but the handwriting was more obvious.

From then on, Cang Xie ordered people to take off all the tortoise shells when they caught them, carved all the hieroglyphs he created in the squares of the tortoise shells, and then strung them together with ropes to give them to the Yellow Emperor. The Yellow Emperor named him Cang, which means that one person is superior and one person is inferior.
