An interesting story of Lincoln's childhood.

1February, 809 12, abraham lincoln was born in a peasant family. When he was a child, his family was poor, so he didn't have a chance to go to school. He works with his father in the western wasteland every day. He himself said: "When I entered school in my life, it added up to less than one year." But Lincoln was studious and asked others for advice whenever he had the chance. No money to buy paper and pens. He always holds a book in his arms when herding cattle, chopping wood and digging the ground. During the break, he ate hard and cold bread and read with relish. In the evening, he often reads under a small oil pan until late at night.

When he grew up, Lincoln left his hometown and went out to make a living alone. He has done everything, worked as a short-term worker, worked as a sailor, a shop assistant, a village postman, a land surveyor, and also did heavy work of logging and chopping wood. No matter what he does, he is very serious and responsible, honest and trustworthy.

As a teenager, he worked as a clerk in the village grocery store. On one occasion, a customer overpaid a few cents, and it took him more than ten miles to return it. On another occasion, he found that he had given the customer two or two teas less, so he ran several miles to deliver the tea to that family. He is honest, diligent and modest, and is loved by people around him wherever he goes.

1834, at the age of 25, Lincoln was elected as a senator from Illinois and began his political career. 1836 became a lawyer through the examination.

When he became a lawyer, he was proficient in law, eloquent and famous in the local area. Many people came to him for help in the lawsuit. But he defended the client on one condition, that is, the client must be a fair party. Many poor people have no money to pay for their labor, but just tell Lincoln: "I am just, please help me to do justice." Lincoln will defend him for free. Once, a rich man asked Lincoln to defend him. After listening to the client's statement, Lincoln found that the man was framing a good man, so he said, "I'm sorry, I can't defend you because your behavior is unfair." The man said, "Mr. Lincoln, I just want you to help me fight this unfair lawsuit." As long as I win the case, you can ask for any reward. " Lincoln said seriously: "As long as you use a little skill in court defense, your case is easy to win, but the case itself is unfair." If I take your case, when I stand in front of the judge and speak, I will say to myself,' Lincoln, you are lying.' Lies can only be said out loud when you lose your conscience. I can't lose my conscience and I can't lie. So ask someone else. I can't help you "
