Pang Tong finally died in Luofengpo. Does Zhuge Liang's death have anything to do with him?

Pang Tong was killed by an arrow when Liu Bei attacked Luocheng, which is now Guanghan area in Deyang City, Sichuan Province, and Sanxingdui is here. Pang Tong was shot dead by the enemy's arrow on the battlefield.

Pang Tong's death must have nothing to do with Zhuge Liang for three reasons:

First, Pang Tong is related to Zhuge Liang. Zhuge Liang's second sister married Pang Shanmin, the son of Pang Degong, Pang Tong's cousin. What do you think is the relationship between Zhuge Liang and Pang Tong? These two people are related by blood, but Pang Rang was Liu Bei's counselor, which was recommended by Zhuge Liang. Zhuge Liang recommended Pang Tong to mix with Liu Bei and then harm him. It's not necessary.

Second, Zhuge Liang is not at the scene. When Pang Tong was shot, Zhuge Liang was still in Jingzhou, hundreds of kilometers apart. At that time, there were no cell phones, no telephones and no internet. Zhuge Liang is in Jingzhou, hundreds of kilometers away. It is impossible to remotely control him in the battlefield of Sichuan hundreds of kilometers away. The current criminal law says that it is not at the crime scene, let alone in ancient times.

Third, Zhuge Liang had no motive. There should be a motive for murder. Don't think that Zhuge Liang and Pang Tong were both strategists and counselors under Liu Bei at that time. Think of Zhuge Liang as trying to kill Pang Tong. This is complete nonsense. The division of labor between them was completely different under Liu Bei.

Zhuge Liang focused on strategy, internal affairs and logistics, while Pang Tong focused on strategy. Both of them are military commanders, which is only a transitional position. Zhuge Liang's main task at that time was to manage the four counties in Jingnan, collect taxes, establish grass-roots political power, and provide personnel and material support for Liu Bei's frontline troops.

Pang Tong's main duty is to go out and fight against Liu Bei and provide counsel. Pang Tong went to Sichuan to fight Liu Bei, and finally won Yizhou. Among them, Pang Tong contributed the most. When Liu Bei attacked Yizhou, Pang Tong provided Liu Bei with three plans: upper, middle and lower. Before that, Liu Bei had no advisers to follow in the war, and the appearance of Pang Tong gave Liu Bei a great role.

If the division of labor is different, there will be no conflict of interest, and Zhuge Liang has no motive to kill Pang Tong. So Pang Tong's death has nothing to do with Zhuge Liang.

Then who was involved in Pang Tong's death?

It is related to Liu Bei, not that Liu Bei killed Pang Tong, but that Liu Bei shouldn't have pushed an adviser like Pang Tong to the front to fight. He could have been killed with one arrow, which shows that Pang Tong is close to the enemy. It is unnecessary for a consultant to fight with weapons on the battlefield. Liu Bei was partly responsible for Pang Tong's death.

If Pang Tong took the initiative to go to the battlefield, then Liu Bei would have no responsibility, and the responsible person could only be Pang Tong himself. As a counselor, it is not his duty to fight in the front, but Pang Tong died in the front, and he is responsible.
