Strictly speaking, the main contradiction in traveling to the west is not the dispute between Buddhism and Taoism, because Buddhism does not have enough weight to fight Taoism. Among the three realms, there are very few territories really controlled by Buddhism. Tathagata lives in Lingshan with many of his bodhisattvas, 500 arhats and 3,000 imperial capitals. Even in Niuhe Prefecture of Xi, there are many hills and powerful Taoist priests.

The main struggle of the westward journey to the world is the struggle within Taoism, that is, the power struggle between the immortal ancestor Taishang Laojun and the Jade Emperor, the master of the Three Realms.

In the three realms of respecting teachers and emphasizing morality, the status is detached. He also owns the elixir of life, and holds the "Danyuan Conference" every year, which can not only enhance the physique of immortals, break through the level of immortals, but also transcend the laws of nature and bring them back to life.

Although the effect of flat peach is not as shocking as that of Laojun elixir, its output is large and its price is expensive, which can take care of the interests of most immortals.

Therefore, under the command of the Jade Emperor, a large number of powerful immortals were gathered, and the representative figure was the Kuimu Wolf in the twenty-eight nights.

For various reasons, the old gentleman can't make a direct move, and the jade emperor can't easily turn his face. Therefore, the Jade Emperor chose to support the Xifo Sect in the world far away from heaven as an important pawn against the old gentleman.

The wisdom of the Tathagata is definitely not under the jade emperor or the old gentleman. He was keenly aware of the jade emperor's intention to promote the status of Buddhism (for example, holding a meeting in An Tian beyond the specifications of human officials). Tathagata should not only be a good pawn, but also be unwilling to be a pawn, in exchange for the jade emperor's greatest return, so as not to turn against the Laojunpai and become the cannon fodder of the jade emperor.

Therefore, shortly after the An Tian Congress, Tathagata planned to learn from the scriptures and put them into practice quickly. The act of learning Buddhist scriptures is an act of seeking the best interests of Buddhism.

In order to win the Tathagata, the Jade Emperor had to answer questions and learn Buddha, and expressed his support for Guanyin's "calling for answers every day and calling for the spirit of the earth", demanding that all immortals in the three realms must support learning Buddha. However, when providing practical help, the Jade Emperor was not enthusiastic and did not try his best. We can see that no matter what difficulties the Monkey King encounters, none of the real masters of heaven-above octupole-can make a move.

In the battle with Qingniu Jing, all the immortals were ordinary immortals. The Tathagata can see the true face of the green cow, but the Jade Emperor can't? The Jade Emperor is surrounded by clairvoyant ears that can listen to the three realms (equivalent to hiding the truth) and see the clairvoyant eyes of the three realms (equivalent to the insights of the Tathagata).

The Jade Emperor knew the relationship between Qingniujing and Laojun for a long time, but he didn't tell the truth. The jade emperor's purpose is to move the curse to the west and turn the Tathagata against the old gentleman.

Of course, Tathagata can't be cannon fodder. The Monkey King doesn't know the strength of the old gentleman, can Tathagata not know? So when he sent out Lohan, he secretly confessed after losing and told Wukong the truth.

Then, if Tathagata made it himself, is it possible to win the essence of green cattle by cutting diamonds?

What are the great magical powers of the Tathagata? What are the magic weapons?

When he conquered the Monkey King, the Tathagata showed two unique skills: the Tathagata's eye, the Tathagata's magical power and the Tathagata's palm.

Fifty-two times in the original work, the Monkey King himself said, "I remember that Buddhism is boundless. From these two words, it can be inferred that the Tathagata's discerning eye sees far away, not only far away, but also has a certain degree of illusion and understanding, and recognizes the true colors of the Qingniu Sutra.

In fact, this avatar of Tathagata is not the only one in the Three Realms. The clairvoyance around the jade emperor can also be used, and the sincere listening of the earth treasure king bodhisattva has a similar effect.

However, the eyes are just an auxiliary magical power, which can know the origin and strength of the opponent, but it can't actually attack the opponent.

Tathagata's palm is aggressive, which can be turned into a downward pressure on Wuxing Mountain. However, King Kong Zhuo is a rare treasure. From the beginning, he accompanied the old gentleman to the throne. Why can this baby specialize in weapons (weapons+magic weapons) in the world? Just because the use of weapons in the world depends on spiritual strength and mana, and Jin Gangzhuo can not only absorb a lot, but also resist completely.

In other words, if Tathagata uses his palm, his mana will be absorbed by King Kong Zhuo in large quantities, and eventually his mana will be exhausted.

There have been several magic weapons in the hands of the Tathagata, such as the three tight hoops of "golden restraint", as well as the cassock and Zhang Xi. But once the three iron rings are thrown out, they will be sucked away by Jin Gangzhuo, not to mention the cassock and Zhang Xi.

Some friends may ask, why didn't the hoop on the Monkey King's head be sucked away when he was fighting with Qingniu Jing?

As a Buddhist leader, subordinates are bullied and there is no reason not to help boxing. He must make a gesture to the jade emperor. But it's humiliating to go to war, and it's still humiliating to send Guanyin. Sending Buddha to send eighteen arhats, a middle-level cadre, is just right.

Some people say that the alchemy sand of eighteen arhats is eighteen golden mountains hidden by the Tathagata, and throwing out the alchemy sand is to pay the travel expenses of the old gentleman. Whether Jindansha is a golden mountain or not, it is a fact that the Eighteen Arhats lost the first battle with Qingniu Jing. The Tathagata didn't personally go out, nor did he send powerful subordinates such as Guanyin, but only sent eighteen arhats, which is a weakness in itself. And weakness, for the old gentleman, is to show good.

Tathagata wants to tell Laojun that although the Jade Emperor has provoked our relationship, I don't want to oppose you (Laojun).

Because of this, Taishang Laojun readily promised to subdue the demon. However, after that, did the Laojunpai and Buddhism live in harmony? Never! In the face of the interests that must be won, the Tathagata will not give in. Surrender to the cow is proof of this.
