The origin of place names

Huangmei County was founded in the Han Dynasty, and its first name was Xunyang. In the sixteenth year of Emperor Wendi of Han Dynasty (164), he established Lujiang State, led twelve counties and sought Yang. This is the origin of the name of Xunyang County in history.

In the first year of Yongxing in the Western Jin Dynasty (304), Lujiang was planned to seek Yang, and Wuchang Chaisang was established to seek Yang. The front line of Taibai Lake and Longgan Lake is "Old Road in Jiangbei", with Qichun County in the north and Yangxun in the south.

In the north, in the third year of Taiyuan in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (378), Qichun was changed to Qiyang.
