What's the difference between Shouxian ancient city wall and Shouxian ancient city? Do you need a ticket?

I went to Shouxian County in the temple fair in the early 1980s. At that time, both the East Gate and the North Gate were original (they are rebuilt now, and there was no ticket management at that time, so tickets were needed after reconstruction). There is no south gate and west gate, and the original appearance has been demolished for car use (the existing gate is also a fake gate, the south gate needs tickets, and the west gate is being rebuilt as it is).

Shouxian ancient city is an old county. Because of the need of flood control, the county wall has been preserved to this day.

The ancient city wall of Shouxian is in the shape of earth dam, with brick on the outside and earth dam slope on the inside. You can go up from any point.

The Grandma Temple in Sidingshan (Bi Xia Yuan Jun Temple) in the north of the county seat no longer existed at that time, leaving only ruins. After the reconstruction, all the newly built "fake temples" were built, and no one has ever been there again.

Maoxian Cave in Fengtai is well preserved. Although it is damaged, it is still the original temple with Taoist priests. I have been to many temple fairs in the 1980s and 1990s (the original cave was tadpole-shaped, and suddenly became smaller and deeper when I got into a big belly). After the renovation and expansion, it lost its original flavor and stopped going.
