It sounds as if there is no hope of becoming prime minister. So Fan Zhongyan changed his mind and said, since I can't be a good doctor in the future, do you think I can be a good doctor? He wants to be a doctor. The fortune teller thought it was strange. In ancient times, doctors and teachers were poor and earned little. Teachers teach students not to ask for tuition, which depends on their family situation and they can pay as much as they want. So is the doctor. It is right to be kind to others. Saving lives is the bounden duty of doctors, so they will never ask for money. I know an elder who informed me that his ancestors drove Yiguang and my grandfather drove Yiguang. He never wants money. The fortune teller was very moved and admired by Fan Zhongyan's words and said, "You are really a prime minister." Although you are not a prime minister now, your heart was once a prime minister. If Fan Zhongyan studied hard for eight years and was admitted to the Jinshi, he became an official and later became a prime minister. When he became an official, he immediately kept his promise and took his mother to support him. It's too early. He told his mother to wait for me for ten years, and now it will come true in eight years. What is this? His virtue has achieved such success. You know, this achievement is his filial piety, his love for serving the whole world. This is what Disciple Rules says, "But everyone needs love, so does the sky, and so does the earth." The origin of this love still lies in his filial piety, and this love for his parents extends to the whole world as a great love.

Therefore, Fan Zhongyan has been an official for life, and his achievements are remarkable, which is deeply loved by people everywhere. Admittedly, I will never be bothered by temporary frustration. I wrote the famous poem Yueyang Tower, "I don't like things, I don't care about myself", "I worry about the world first, and then I enjoy the world." This kind of poem is a portrayal of his old man's fraternity. His own salary is used to help the poor. For my people, the Fan family refused to admit Fan Zhongyan at first. Later, I became an official and got paid. Fan Zhongyan did not forget the past, repaid the bad with good, and gave my family and people a lot of support, so that he bought a thousand acres of farmland in his hometown to cultivate for his family and people and let them maintain their lives. There is a temple in my hometown. Fan Zhongyan studied in this temple. Fan Zhongyan was still studying before he became an official. In the temple, one day he saw a hole under the tree. After he dug the hole, he dug up an altar of silver, which was snowflake silver. Fan Zhongyan was poor at that time, but when he saw the silver altar, he was not tempted at all and immediately buried it back in its original place. After a long time, Fan Zhongyan once became a big official. People in the temple came to Fan Zhongyan one day and asked him for help, repairing the temple, and needed some money. As a result, Fan Zhongyan approved a message for this person to take back, informing him that if you dig under that big tree in your temple, you will dig up an altar of silver, which will be enough for you. As a result, after this person went back, the people in the temple really dug up and really dug up the money. You see, Mr. Fan Zhongyan was so poor when he was young, but he was not tempted when he saw money. Such a kind of determination, as Disciples' Rules says, "You must know when you take it" and "You must ask when you choose, and you will steal if you don't ask". Mr. Fan Zhongyan is absolutely unmoved by profit. This virtue can make him have such a successful life.

After the victory, I still don't fall into this ambition and live a cold life all my life. He never eats meat all his life. My wife and children have never even seen jade.
