Jackie Chan invited the screenwriter Edward Tang to add a lot of subplots to the film, add a few new characters, and delete the inexplicable scenes and fortune-telling scenes in the American version. What you saw was the plot performed by singer Sally Yeh and martial artist Li Haisheng, which was added later. In addition, Jackie Chan also brought back the starring Dami Errol and boxer Bill Wallace from the United States, and re-filmed the fighting scene of the last World War, making it longer and more complicated, with faster action arrangement and more faithful to Yu Chenglong's fighting style. For Asian audiences, this version is much better than the American version.
