New things in the philosophical sense refer to things that conform to the objective laws and trends of the development of things and have strong vitality and broad prospects.

Old things are things that go against the law of development, lose the inevitability of existence, and die out day by day.

New things deny the negative, outdated and decadent things in the old things, absorb and inherit the positive things in the old things that are still adapting to the new historical conditions, and add new things that some old things can't accommodate, so they are richer in content, more advanced in form, more reasonable in structure and stronger in function than the old things.

Therefore, new things are bound to overcome old things.
