General situation of Bailong Mountain

The east-west trend of the foothills extends eastward from Zhengjiang Mountain at the junction of Yongjia and Yueqing counties, and gradually narrows. It is an east-west ridge with Zhengjiangshan (997m), Bailongshan (7 16m) and Jiangyan Mountain (3 19m) from west to east, and Sanjiangshan (308m) from south until it disappears in Yueqing Bay. The ridge is relatively flat, the north slope is steep, and the south slope is slightly gentle, with waterfalls and steep cliffs dotted among them. It covers the area south of Qingjiang River and north of Danxi River, with an area of about 50 square kilometers and an altitude of 7 16. 1 m, which is the highest peak in Hongqiao area of Yueqing City. According to the Yongle Dadian Yueqing County Records, "Yaoao Mountain, namely Jiya Mountain, goes 50 miles east of the county seat. Shanmen Township in the north and Ruiying Township in the south. Bailong Mountain is characterized by rugged rocks, beautiful valleys, famous temples and forest landscapes. According to the tourist route, it is divided into four scenic spots: Longtan, Shuangji Temple, Zhang and Long Shuihua. The main scenic spots are Longtan, Huxian Palace, Shuangji Mountain, Jiuzhou Rock, Zhanghou Cave, Qingyun Taoist Temple, Tianmen Array and Beds. There are more than 300 scenic spots here, which are piled up by huge stones, winning by surprise, changing the scenery and attracting people. Among them, Longshui Langhua Scenic Area is not only concentrated in scenic spots, beautiful in scenery, but also cool in climate, warm in winter and cool in summer, and is known as the "hometown of immortals".

Bailong Mountain has always been a holy place for Taoist practice. According to A Qing Wu Yongwa's Records of Bailong Mountain, Bailong Mountain has three palaces of Notre Dame de Bailong, namely, the upper, middle and lower palaces. Up to now, there are Bailong Palace, Tang Guan San Lao Hall, Fan Lihua Temple, Longniang Palace, Wulong Palace, Bailongtai Uterus, Dragon Palace, Bailong Notre Dame Palace, Longwang Temple, Tian Zi Longtan Palace and Panlong Palace. And there are about 20 buildings in the whole mountain (nearly half of which were built after the founding of the People's Republic of China).
