What kind of city is Mianzhu?

Mianzhu is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province and is managed by Deyang City. Located in the northwest of Sichuan Basin, backed by Longmen Mountain, with an area of 1.245 square kilometers, it governs 2 streets and 10 towns. The city borders Jingyang District of Deyang City in the southeast, Anzhou District of Mianyang City in the northeast, shifang city across the river in the southwest and Maoxian County of Aba Prefecture in the northwest.

Mianzhu, known as one of the "72 Heaven-given caves", belongs to the humid climate zone in the middle subtropical zone of Sichuan Basin. It is the birthplace of Tang Dynasty tribute tea, Zhaopo tea and China famous wine Jiannanchun. It is also the birthplace of Mianzhu New Year Pictures, one of the four major New Year Pictures in China. Jiuding Mountain in China is the main part of the National Geopark "Wolong-Siguniang Mountain Giant Panda Ecological Corridor".

Mianzhu River belongs to Tuojiang River system, which originated in the northwest mountainous area of Sichuan Province. The main rivers are Mianyuan River, Shiting River, Wading River, Mawei River, Baishui River and Longmang River. Flowing to the southeast plain, mostly seasonal rivers.

The mountain valley is steep and has a big drop. The slope of the plain gradually slows down with the terrain. The water quantity changes greatly, the rainy season in winter and spring is relatively stable, and the rainy season in summer and autumn is prone to disasters.
