The main attractions of Huilong Mountain

Step into the gate of Huilongshan Park and walk up the Panshan Highway, and you can reach qixia temple at the top of the mountain. Qixia temple, formerly known as Baoquan Temple, is an ancient temple built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (AD 373), which is famous for its strong incense. Zhu Yunwen, the emperor of the Ming Dynasty, was ousted by his uncle because of the court turmoil, cut his hair and became a monk, escaped from Nanjing, took refuge in Wu, Hunan, Yunnan, Guizhou and other places, and lived in Baoquan Temple in seclusion for a difficult time. Huanglong lived in Qinglong Mountain, so later generations renamed Baoquan Temple as qixia temple and Huilong Qixia, and it was listed as one of the top ten ancient scenic spots in Yiyang.

In today's qixia temple, the incense is still strong, and there are many good men and women. There is an eye-catching couplet on the door, which tells the vicissitudes of the ancient temple: the ancient temple in Jin Dynasty, vicissitudes; Clouds, green mountains and green waters in the Ming Dynasty are all hidden monks. Huilongshan Park combines famous historical sites with modern garden buildings. On the left side of qixia temple, the magnificent Qixia Pavilion has been built. This pavilion is three stories high. On the first floor is the Buddhist temple, which is used by Tathagata and Guandi. On the second floor is the Jade Buddha Hall, dedicated to the large jade Buddha donated by overseas Chinese in Thailand. On the third floor is the observation deck. Standing around the pavilion, Yiyang has a panoramic view of ten scenes, and Zijiang runs thousands of miles through the city. The Third Zijiang Bridge flies north and south, and high-rise buildings on both sides have mushroomed. The wide streets are full of traffic, and the scenery in Yin Cheng is so beautiful that it is breathtaking.

Under the qixia temple, there is a group of ancient tombs hidden by ancient trees, one of which is the tomb of a monk who met fate. According to textual research, monk Yuyuan is Chen Sanyuan, the son of King Chen Yucheng of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. After the death of the King of England, the mother and son fled to Yiyang, and qixia temple became a monk and died in Huilongshan Park.

From Qixia to the south, among the pines and cypresses, there is a Libo Pavilion built in memory of Zhou Libo, a famous writer in Yiyang. He wrote the novel The Storm in the Northeast Land Reform and won the Stalin Prize for Literature. He described Yiyang's excellent novel Great Changes in the Countryside, which edified and educated a generation. He goes deep into life, portrays characters and has a unique style, which is exemplary. There is a statue of Zhou Libo in front of the pavilion, written by Zhu Weijing, a famous sculptor in China. Zhou Libo, who smiled and meditated, sat on his beloved pole and looked at Yiyang, where great changes had taken place, as if he were conceiving a sequel to the great changes in the countryside.

On the right side of Libo Pavilion stands the Ceng Shie Martyrs Monument. He was a heroic Red Army commander who followed Chairman Mao to Jinggangshan. In the third counter-encirclement campaign, he took the lead in charging, was outnumbered, covered the main force to break through, and died heroically in the battle. At that time, he was only 27 years old. The Red Army Headquarters called on the whole army to learn from Ceng Shie. 1987, his body moved back to Yiyang from Jiangxi and was buried in Huilong Mountain, so that the loyal soul of the martyrs could rest in Huilong Mountain and educate future generations.

In addition to Huilong Qixia, Huilong Mountain also has Huilong Flower, Huilong Bamboo and Huilong Mountain Villa, as well as the Martyrs Cemetery, which makes the natural landscape and human landscape harmonious and unified. This is a famous tourist and leisure resort. Being in this mountain gives people a strong shock of returning to nature.
