Brief introduction of Guangji Temple

Guangji Temple in Mianzhu, Sichuan is located in Woyun Village, guangji town, Mianzhu City, which is 19 km away from Mianzhu City and less than 100 km away from Chengdu City. Guangji Temple was built in the Kaibao period of the Song Dynasty. According to legend, it was built to commemorate Li Erlang, son of Qin Shu County Magistrate Li Bing, in Mianzhu and Shifang. Later, Emperor posthumous title Erlang was the King of Guangji, whose town name was Guangji, and there was Guangji Temple, which was a famous ancient temple in Mianzhu.
