The difference between Songzi Guanyin and Baizitang

The difference between the two lies in the difference in concept.

Seeing off Guanyin refers to an incarnation of Guanyin Bodhisattva, which is considered to be the goddess in charge of children on earth and giving birth to children. In some temples, there is a statue of Guanyin, and people go to pray for her blessing, hoping to get the happiness of healthy children and future generations.

Baizitang is a temple in Putuo Mountain and a holy place for finding children. There is a Songzi building in Baizitang, dedicated to Songzi Guanyin. Visitors to the Baizitang can get the blessing of Guanyin, the boy born will get the blessing of wisdom, and the girl born will be both beautiful and moral.
