Evolution of zhoucun district's organizational system

As early as the Neolithic Age, people fished, hunted, reclaimed and thrived on this land.

During the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, there were tribes and villages.

During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, it was the territory of Qi. In the Western Han Dynasty, the northern part belonged to Ling County and the southern part belonged to Banyang County (now Zichuan).

During the Southern and Northern Dynasties, it belonged to Wuqiang County, Guang Chuan County.

In the fifth year of Song Yuanjia, Beiqiu County was established in the south, belonging to Qinghe County.

Huang Kai belonged to Zichuan in the 16th year (596). 18, Wuqiang county was changed to Changshan county, and Beiqiu county was changed to Zichuan county.

The present area, which belongs to Zichuan County in the south and Changshan County in the north, has experienced 1300 years.

1August, 970, Zichuan District was divided into three communes: Mengshui, Pengyang and Wangcun. Zhoucun district governs 1 1 commune and 2 12 natural villages.

1986 zhoucun district has jurisdiction over 2 towns (Wangcun and Mengshui), 9 townships (Zhoucun, Zhang Fang, Nanyan, Dajiang, Nanying, Huang Jia, Gaotang, Pengyang and Baligou), 3 sub-district offices (Shi Si Street, Silk Road and Xiahe Street) and 2 16 villagers.

1988 65438+1October 25th, the district government issued the document Zhou [1988] 14, and renamed Zhoucun Village as Hangbei Neighborhood Committee, which still belongs to Zhoucun Village.

1 989 September/0/day, according to the provincial government [89] Lu Han No.32 document, Zhoucun Township was revoked and Zhoucun Town was established; Cancel Nanyan Township and establish Nanyan Town; Cancel Nanying Township and set up Nanying Town. After the three townships are removed from their townships and towns are set up, their administrative areas and people's government residences remain unchanged. Cancel Baligou Township and set up a southern suburb town. The administrative area remains unchanged, and the town government is located at No.2 Nanjiao Road.

On September 20th 199 1, the district government issued the document Zhou [199 1] 104, which divided the neighborhood committees into neighborhood committees and hangdong neighborhood committees, and still belonged to the Silk Road Sub-district Office.

By the end of 1995, zhoucun district had 8 towns and 3 townships, and 2 15 village committees (including 2 12 natural villages). 3 sub-district offices and 28 residents' committees.

1997, Huang Jia Township was abolished and Huang Jia Town was established, with the same administrative division.

1999, Zhoucun Town was revoked. Zhoucun City takes the intersection of Xinjian Road and Dongmen Road as the center, and sets up four sub-district offices, namely Silk, Yong 'an, Qingnian and Dajie, and has 22 neighborhood committees under its jurisdiction. At the same time, four villages were drawn from Nanyan Town and three villages were drawn from Nanjiao Town, which were respectively placed under the jurisdiction of four offices.

In March of 200 1 year, according to the requirements of provincial documents, the original 8 towns, 2 townships and 4 streets in zhoucun district were merged into 4 towns and 5 streets. Nanying Town, Dajiang Town, Zhang Fang Town and 13 village zoned from Nanyan Town were merged into Nanying Village, the resident of the town government. Gaotang Town, Huang Jia Town and Nanjiao Town merged to form a new Nanjiao Town. At the same time, Mengjiayan Village, the former southern suburb town, was placed under the jurisdiction of the Silk Road Sub-district Office, and the town government was stationed in Gaotang Village. Pengyang Township and Wangcun Town merged to form a new Wangcun Town, and the town government entered Wangcun. Draw out the 16 village under the jurisdiction of the former Nanyan Town, and set up Chengbei Road Sub-district Office, which is located at No.99 Nanyan Road.

By the end of 2002, zhoucun district had jurisdiction over four towns (Wangcun Town, Beijiao Town, Nanjiao Town and Mengshui Town) and five sub-district offices (Dajie, Qingnian Road, Silk Road, Yongan Street and Chengbei Road), with 265,438+00 villagers' committees and 26 residents' committees.
