What do you think of the Five Elements?

In terms of eight-character numerology, there have been two views on five elements in history.

The first method is to listen to the five elements. The year is a reference point or coordinate, and there is a formula to judge the five elements. For example, in the year of Wuzi, Wuzi is a thunderbolt fire, indicating that the five elements belong to fire. If you find an elderly fortune teller or a blind fortune teller on the roadside to help you tell your fortune, they generally tend to say that your five elements belong to this category. Just say that this person belongs to gold, which is the gold in the sea. The colleague born in Jiazi is also a sea gold.

The second method is to discuss a person's five elements in his daily work (birthday). This came into being after Xu Ziping, a master of the Song Dynasty (because of him, eight-character fortune-telling is also called Ziping) developed the eight-character theory. From then to now, life theory is based on daily work as a reference point or coordinate system. This is a major breakthrough and development. Everyone has been talking about the Five Elements since Xu Ziping.

For example, in the above example, the sun stems belong to nonyl, nonyl water, nonyl yang water and decyl yin water (supplementary knowledge: A and B belong to wood, C and D belong to fire, Wuji belongs to soil, Geng Xin belongs to gold, and nonyl water, so it is easy to see what your five elements belong to by arranging vegetables online or directly checking the calendar, and then finding the sun stems according to the arranged or found eight characters).

Having said that, the difference between these two elements should be clear. To tell the truth, no matter which theory of five elements you adopt, it will not affect the result of your fortune-telling judgment, unless the fortune-teller completely adopts the numerology method of Li period in Tang Dynasty. Otherwise, these two methods are just called by different names. I recommend the second method, because few people use Yin Na to judge their own destiny now.

So next time, when others say that your five elements are different from those of previous fortune-tellers, you'd better not be surprised or questioned, because this judgment is the most basic common sense of eight-character numerology (just like a doctor judges the gender of a patient), even a fortune-teller who holds his breath again (unless the birthday provided is incorrect or the fortune-teller is blind or drunk) is unlikely to make this judgment wrong.
