1. The size of the hook

If the hook is large, the hook distance is large; To catch big fish, it is necessary to widen the hook distance to prevent another bait from blocking the entrance when the fish swallows the bait. If it is a small crucian carp, the hook distance of the double hook is relatively simple, and the hook distance of the two hooks is generally more appropriate. At this time, you can use the sleeve hook. The sleeve hook has a sharp hook tip, a long hook handle, a thin hook strip and a light hook body, and is suitable for inhaling and feeding small fish. Chinese fish has low puncture resistance and strong penetration, and can quickly unload fish. However, if the fish can't be protected in time, it is easy to run away, which may be caused by the straight and short hook tip, so this design has advantages and disadvantages.

Generally, two hooks are enough for carp, but the hooks used are relatively large, and the hooks for herring and grass carp are not complicated. 2. Feeding speed of fish

This method is generally used for competitive fishing. The faster the fish situation, the greater the hook distance, up to 3-4 hook distance. In bottom fishing, the hook distance should be reduced appropriately to facilitate drift adjustment.

3. How to adjust the hook distance

The normal hook distance should be around 1.5-2, the hook distance of floating fishing can be slightly larger, generally 2-3 hooks, and the bottom fishing can be correspondingly smaller, 1- 1.5 hooks.

When fishing raw oral fish, the hook distance can be slightly enlarged, preferably 2-3 cm, because the distance between the two hooks is large, which will make the hook bait open wider in the underwater natural state, and its bait will be more targeted.

When fishing slippery fish, the normal 1.5-2 cm is appropriate, or slightly reduced.
