Origin of Ling Jie Bridge in Xishui Xima Town

The origin is: Xima Town has a long history and is brilliant. According to legend, during the reign of Emperor Gaozu, a female general named "Su Rong" fought here and made her followers go down to the river to wash horses, hence the name "washing horses". Because of its special geographical location, horse washing has always been a battleground for military strategists, leaving behind historical sites such as Jieling Bridge, Shangmashi, Ma Si Ridge, Maanshan, Huofeng Mountain and Taiping Village, as well as many stories about battles. Xishui County Records records that before the Qing Dynasty, the county was located in Qiyang Street, Xima.
