Where is Jiazi Town?

Jiazi Town is an ancient town in eastern Guangdong, which developed earlier. Originally called jiazimen. Because there is a big stone like a gate standing in the mouth, which is consistent with the words of sixty jiazi, it is called jiazi. Jiazi Town is located in the south of Lufeng City, facing Jiadong Town across Yingjiang River in the east, Huilai County in Jieyang City in the north, Jiaxi Town in the west and Nanhai in the south.

Jiazi Town is a hilly area with high terrain in the northwest and low terrain in the southeast. The geological surface is dominated by loess, which contains more solid sediments. Jiazi Town has charming scenery and rich tourism resources. Daidushan, who lived in the Southern Song Dynasty for two years (1277), was ascended by the Emperor of Song Dynasty to Daidushan in Jiazimen, and the fisherman Zheng Fuweng raised a pole to help the Lord recover. Later generations built Jiaxiu Building, Dining Pavilion and General Temple in Daishan as a memorial. Celebrities in the Song Dynasty, scholars in the Qing Dynasty, juren and other stone carvings left ink marks, which made the mountain to be crossed form a natural scenic spot. This red building was built in 1925, which was used by Nie and other revolutionaries of the older generation when they led the army eastward. Jiaxiu Academy is the site of Jiazi Town No.1 Middle School. In the tenth year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty, the governor of the provincial constitution, Neigong (anonymous), visited Jia, took out part of his salary, and tried to get the gentleman and Yin family to donate money to build an academy. At that time, it was a place to train scholars, Confucianism, juren and other talents.
