Changchun Temple, one of the famous Taoist sites in China, located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, is the only existing building of this kind in this area. 1983 was listed as a national key Taoist temple by the State Council. Taoist temple is located at the southern foot of Shuangfeng Mountain in Wuhan. It is said that Laozi, the founder of Taoism, once stayed here, and Taoist architecture began to appear here as early as the third century BC. Qiu Chuji, a famous representative of Quanzhen Sect in Yuan Dynasty, came here to practice and preach, and the scale was further expanded. Because Qiu Chuji is called Changchun real person, the Taoist temple is called Changchun view. Since its establishment, the influence of Changchun concept has been expanding, and it continued to expand in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, forming the present scale. It sits facing south and is built on the mountain. The main buildings are the mountain gate, Lingguan Hall, Taiqing Hall and Sanhuang Hall. It has a compact layout and a huge scale. There is a merit shrine next to the Seven True Halls in Guannei, with an astronomical panorama embedded in the wall, which was completed by the famous Taoist Li Lian in the 1930s, which is of great reference value to the study of ancient astronomy. Now, Changchun Temple is not only the local Taoist activity center, but also a scenic tourist attraction, and many tourists and believers come to worship every year.
