Wulong is located in the southwest of Huoqiu County, bordering Changji Town and Zhongxing Town in the east, Sanyuan Township in Ji Ye Experimental Area in the south, Tribhuzhen and Hekou Town in the west and north respectively. It is an extension of Dabie Mountain, which is high in the south and low in the north. It is a typical hilly area.

Oolong is the earliest place to establish a party organization in Huoqiu County. /kloc-in the spring of 0/926, party member Fan Yixian, who was studying in Soochow University, returned to Huoqiu, and went to visit relatives and friends in Wulong Temple, Dougangji and Hekouji to publicize the revolutionary truth among poor shop assistants, workers and teachers and secretly develop party member. 1in June, 926, a meeting of party member League members was held in Donggang, Huangdazhuang Village, Wulong Temple, with more than 20 participants. A special branch of the Central Wulong Temple was established and Fan Yixian was elected as the secretary of the special branch. Tezhi opened a cigarette shop in Wulongmiao Street as a contact point for secret activities.

After the founding of New China, Wulong experienced several changes and was divided into Sanyuan District, Hekou District and Tribal Tiger District. /kloc-in the spring of 0/992, the area was withdrawn and merged into townships, and the two townships of Wulong and Dougang in the original tribal tiger area merged to form the new Wulong Township. With the strengthening of Wulong's comprehensive economic strength, in the autumn of 1998, with approval, Wulong withdrew from the township to build a town.

Wulong Town covers an area of 103 square kilometer, with a population of 38,000 people and 68,000 mu of cultivated land, and governs 2 1 administrative village. 105 national highway and fuliu expressway pass through the territory, which improves the traffic environment of our town. At the same time, Wulong Town is located in the upper reaches of Fengxi main canal, irrigated by Wudou branch canal, and its agricultural production conditions are convenient. It is one of the major grain-producing towns in the county, and the livestock and poultry breeding industry is also relatively developed. Hybrid rice seed production and kiwifruit development have become the characteristic industries in our town.
