Where is Zhijin Cave in Guizhou?

Zhijin Cave is located in Guanzhai Township, 23km northeast of zhijin county, and 20km away from Guiyang/KLOC-0. It is a famous super-large cave in China.

The terrain in Zhijin Cave is complex, with ten scenic spots such as Yingke Hall and Wanshou Palace, and more than 40 karst forms. It is called "Karst Museum".

Outside the cave, there are natural landscapes such as ground karst, canyon, stream waterfall and Buyi, Miao and Yi villages. Zhijin Cave is the essence of this scenic spot, and it is a treasure house of large-scale and peculiar cave resources discovered in China. In 2009, Zhijindong Scenic Spot was successfully upgraded to a national AAAAA-level scenic spot.

Zhijin Cave belongs to the subtropical humid monsoon climate zone, which is located at the south bank of Hejie River Canyon in the upper reaches of Wujiang River in China. It is a high-level dry cave formed by neotectonic movement, block uplift and river undercut dissolved rock mass.

Zhijin Cave is the most outstanding cave discovered in China at present, covering an area of over 30,000 square meters, and it is the largest cave hall. 1994, Zhijindong, as the only representative of Asia, joined the International Cave Tourism Association, forming a golden tourism ring road in western Guizhou with Huangguoshu, Longgong and Hongfeng Lake.

There are 47 caves in Zhijin Cave, the widest part is 173m, the average height is 50-60m and the highest part is 150m. The terrain in the cave is complex, with scenic spots such as Yingke Hall and Wanshou Palace 10, and more than 40 karst forms. It is called "Karst Museum".
