Why doesn't Maoming develop Huazhou?

Location disadvantage, mountain disadvantage, cultural disadvantage.

1, position disadvantage. It's too close to Guangxi and Maozhan. It is easy to be mistaken for Guangxi outside, and the investment environment is very general. At the same time, Maoming, sandwiched between two prefecture-level cities, is easily squeezed by various development resources.

2. Disadvantages of mountainous areas. Huazhou is a typical mountainous area in western Guangdong, with a plain area ratio of only 9.3%. This ratio is even far less than that of Yangchun, Luoding, Gaozhou, Lianjiang and mountainous areas.

3. Cultural disadvantage. There is no dominant traditional culture with prominent core in Huazhou area. The education level is not comparable to Gaozhou, Lianjiang and Xinyi in the surrounding counties and cities. Although Huazhou dialect is full of comedies and antics, its pronunciation is unclear and it is difficult to be elegant.
