Method of incense: When incense is applied, hold the incense with your thumb and forefinger, close the other three fingers, and lift the incense horizontally with your hands.

Stand upright so as not to burn others, and then walk three steps away from the Buddha statue, holding incense and worshiping the Buddha.

It is advisable to burn incense with a stick of incense. If you want to burn three incense sticks, insert the first incense stick in the middle (say, to support the Buddha).

The second incense is inserted on the right side (oral worship), and the third incense is inserted on the left side (oral worship by monks), with hands crossed (worship).
