Haimen is a county-level city managed by Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, located in the southeast of Jiangsu Province. It faces the Yellow Sea in the east, the Yangtze River in the south and Shanghai across the river. Haimen, known as the "gateway to rivers and seas", is located at the mouth of the Yangtze River, only 60 kilometers away from Shanghai, with a land area of 1 148.77 square kilometers.
