Jiahe County Public Security Bureau returned the recovered178,000 yuan to victims all over the country at the stolen goods return meeting.

On August 7 this year, the Zhuquan Police Station of Jiahe County Public Security Bureau received an alarm from the victim Li, saying that he received a phone call on July 27, and the other party claimed to be the leader of a provincial office. At present, official vehicles have special funds allocated by superiors, but the excess needs to be solved by the unit itself. Li Xin thought it was true, and arranged for the personnel to transfer 38,000 yuan to the bank account designated by the other party through the ATM machine, and later found that he was cheated.

After receiving the police, Jiahe County Public Security Bureau immediately dispatched the Criminal Investigation Brigade and Zhuquan Police Station to set up an "8.7 series telecom fraud case" task force to detect the case. By collecting ATM withdrawal records, the police found that all the clues of the case pointed to Wangmo County, Southwest Guizhou. Subsequently, the police of the task force went to Guizhou twice to investigate the clues of the case and initially locked the suspect.

On September 20th, the task force arrested suspects Wang, Zhang and Wang Moucheng, seized 5 mobile phones involved, several mobile phone cards, bank cards and fake ID cards, and frozen bank deposits of 6,543,800 yuan. At present, the criminal suspects Wang Moyan and Zhang Mouzhi have been detained according to law, and the criminal suspect Wang has stopped the investigation because he has not reached the age of criminal responsibility. The case is still under investigation.

The police reminded that new means of telecom fraud emerged one after another. The public should keep in mind the "three noes" principle, that is, don't trust, don't disclose personal information, and don't transfer money to unknown accounts, which can effectively reduce the chance of being cheated.

Fraudulent means

Collect the phone calls of local leaders for fraud.

According to the criminal suspect Wang and his wife Zhang, they lost money in business and had the idea of defrauding money. They bought a lot of mobile phone cards and bank cards from the Internet, found the information and telephone numbers of local civil affairs departments or leaders of the Health Planning Commission, pretended to be superior leaders, and lied that their superiors had recently issued a batch of poverty alleviation funds, and they could distribute official vehicles or X-ray machines, B-ultrasound machines and other medical equipment to all units, but they needed to make up the difference. After receiving the money remitted by the relevant units, Wang Moyan and Zhang Mouzhi put on sunglasses and hats in disguise, and took out all the money at the ATM, sometimes calling their underage son Wang Moucheng to participate.

Jiahe police found out that since 2065438+April 2007, the suspects Wang, Zhang, Wang Moucheng and others have successively committed seven telecom frauds in Yunnan, Hunan, Guangxi, Sichuan, Fujian and other places, involving more than 260,000 yuan.
