Miaolaoji Township originally belonged to the third district of Tang Dynasty, with east longitude11551'-1515' and north latitude 33 18'-33. It is one of the ancient market towns in Taihe County, named after the Miao family lived here. Every two days in the lunar calendar is a market. In the 1980 s, the district was withdrawn and merged into the township, which was designated as the town. Later (I forgot the specific time), it was renamed Miaoji Town with the consent of the provincial government. It is 48 kilometers away from Taihe County.

Railway: Get off at Tangsan Station on Beijing-Kowloon Line (the only station in Puyang-Bozhou section) and walk 8 kilometers east.

Highway: The shuttle bus from Taihe County to Suzhou City stops at Sanyuanyuan Bus Station every afternoon 1:00- 1:30, and it takes about an hour to arrive. Jieshou city-Suzhou stops at Sanyuanyuan Bus Terminal at 2:00-2:30 every afternoon for about an hour. There are also buses from Taihe to Huaibei and Jieshou to Huaibei, and the specific time is unknown; Laosanjiaoyuan, the intersection of traffic police accident squadron, has agricultural vehicles to Miaoji every day. The exact time is unknown, but the number is very large.

Expressway: G35 Jiguang Expressway passes through the west side of Miaoji Town, but it is estimated that you can't walk out, so you have to drive.

Waterway: from Hefei Town, Qiaocheng District, Bozhou City, enter the Xifeihe River, and you can reach it by rowing south. From Shuang Fu Town, Taihe County, you can enter the Honghe River (the artificial river excavated at the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China reaches Hongze Lake), and you can go to Yuanqiang Town, Taihe County by boating to the southeast (but most of the river seems to have dried up, and sometimes the boat may have to row you), then turn to the highway and continue eastward, still passing through Tangsan.
