What are the types of work permits in Singapore?

1.EP Employment Pass: Applicable to foreign professionals, managers, supervisors and experts. Include p-pass and q-pass. The Human Resources Department will examine the applicants' applications for work permits according to their salary, qualifications, work experience and work nature. Applicants for European Pass must have a fixed monthly salary of not less than 2 500 yuan. European passport holders can apply for family visas for their immediate family members. 2. Personalized Employment Pass (PEP): for overseas foreign professionals, EP permit holders and foreign graduates from the University of Singapore.

At present, holders of P2 and Q 1 licenses must have a fixed income of not less than S $30,000 in the previous year, or hold P2 licenses for at least 2 years or Q 1 licenses for at least 5 years. 3. Advanced License (S-Pass): For middle-skilled personnel and technicians.
Applicants for S-Pass will be graded, and the grading factors include salary, qualification, skill, work experience and job type. The minimum wage for S-Pass applicants shall not be less than S $0/800 per month. The recruitment limit of S-Pass employees in each company is 25% of the total number of employees in the company, and each person has to pay a monthly tax of S $50. S-Pass permit holders with a fixed monthly salary of over S $2,500 can apply for a family visa.
4.RP Permit, namely WP Permit (R-Pass, WP): For low-skilled and unskilled foreign workers who cannot apply for S-Pass.
Foreign employees recruited from all walks of life have nationality restrictions. For example, the service industry can only recruit R-Pass employees from Malaysia, Hongkong, Macau, South Korea and Taiwan Province Province. The recruitment of R-Pass employees is subject to other restrictions, such as local protection rate and employee tax. R-Pass employees are not allowed to apply for family visas. 7. Family Pass/Consent (DP/LOC): Applicable to European Pass holders.
Family members refer to the spouse, children under the age of 2 1 or adopted children of the European Pass holder. S-Pass permit holders with a fixed monthly income of over S $2,500 can also apply for a family visa. Family members of EP permit holders can work in Singapore if they hold a work approval letter from the Ministry of Manpower of Singapore. Family members of S-Pass permit holders are not allowed to apply for work approval letters; But if he is qualified, he can apply for a P/Q/S/R work permit.
8. Long-term Social Visit Pass (LTSVP): applicable to parents, in-laws, stepchildren, legal spouses, disabled children and/or unmarried daughters over 2 1 or P2. These long-term social visit visa holders can apply for P/Q/S/Rwork pass permission according to their personal abilities in order to work in Singapore.
9.EP certificate, namely EPEC (Employment Pass Certificate): Foreigners holding EP certificate can stay in Singapore for no more than 1 year to find a job. However, the EP certificate is not a work permit, and the holder cannot work in Singapore with the EP certificate.
10. Handyman Work Pass: It is applicable to foreigners working in Singapore for a short time.
