What kind of person was Yuan Zhen in history?

Yuan Zhen is good at poetry and prose. There are more than 30 volumes of articles in Yuan Zhen's collected works, which should be prepared in various forms, and sometimes there are masterpieces. Yuefu poetry occupies an important position in Yuan poetry, and the same name as Song of Eternal Sorrow is Twelve Yuefu Poems of Yuan Zhen, a new title book of Li School. Its details describe beauty and nature. The most distinctive poems in Yuan Dynasty are colourful poems and mourning poems.

In the fifth year of Yuanhe (8 10), Yuan Zhen was recalled in Henan (after Fang Jianguo) and was fined for playing silver. After passing through Huazhou Fushui Post Station, he stayed in the post office, which coincides with eunuchs Shiliang Zhou and Liu Shiyuan who also want to stay in the post office. Yuan Zhen argued, but was scolded by Chou Shiliang. Liu Shiyuan even came forward to beat Yuan Zhen with a whip, beating him bloody, and was finally kicked out of class.

Later, on the grounds of "Yuan Zhen's demotion to tree power and loss of constitutional body", he was demoted to join the army and became Cao, a teacher of Jiangling. Since then, he has lived in exile for more than ten years.

Yuan Zhen exiled Man Jing for nearly ten years because of his outstanding talent and generous personality. Yuan Zhen was ordered to send envoys to Jiannan Dongchuan. He boldly beat illegal officials and rehabilitated many unjust cases. Yuan Zhen was an observer in eastern Zhejiang for six years, building water conservancy and developing agriculture, and made great achievements and won the support of the people.

Yuan Zhen is brilliant, but rarely famous. In the ninth year of Zhenyuan (793), after he became the ancestor of Ming Dynasty, he was granted the left hand to collect the remains, entered the river shogunate, was promoted to the school secretary, and was transferred to the censor. At one time, under the planning of Li, he became the minister of the same state and the right minister.

In the fourth year of Taihe, I was appointed as the ambassador of Wuchang. In the fifth year of Taihe (83 1), he died at the age of 53 and was posthumously awarded the right servant of Shangshu.

Yuan Zhen and Bai Juyi shared the same topic, became lifelong poetry friends, and jointly advocated the new Yuefu movement, which was called "Bai Yuan" by the world and formed "Yuanhe Style". Poetry has made great achievements, and the words are simple, which means sadness, gripping and touching. The creation of Yuefu poems was influenced by Wang Jian of Zhang Jihe, and the "New Poem Yuefu" came directly from Li Shen.
