There is a three-foot sword in the box on your back, which is a sign of heaven and injustice.

Through this poem, we can see that Lv Dongbin praised the chivalrous man who got rid of violence and was safe and sound, and showed his chivalrous spirit of hating evil.

Lv Dongbin "is good at fencing and can eliminate evil", and there are statues of him holding a sword in many Taoist temples in China. Lu Zuzhi's frontispiece also depicts Xiu Xiang with a sword. He has enriched and developed the "Three Avoidances of Sword" in constant practice.

In the book Daoism, he said that he "changed his swordsmanship, worried about one thing, and was greedy for sex." Thus, Lv Dongbin supplemented, developed and updated Tian Dunjian's law.

Lv Dongbin's new swordsmanship has been handed down from generation to generation among Taoist priests. In memory of this swordsman, Taoist disciples renamed the swordsmanship taught by Lv Dongbin "Pure Yang Swordsmanship". This is the origin of the development of "pure Yang swordsmanship".
