Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area is located in the southern foothills of Qingcheng Mountain, which is an integral part of the world cultural heritage Qingcheng Mountain. One of the Mount Qingfeng was first recorded in the cultural relics of Zhao Pu Temple in Mount Qingfeng. Before the Zhao Pu Temple was built, the virgin forest area was more than 2,000 mu, with towering old trees and lush vegetation. The forest is full of rare trees that have grown for a hundred years, such as fir, cypress, nanmu, red bean and ginkgo.

After the temple was built, the mountain forest was preserved because the temple was occupied. After the monks took the tree away, they planted it artificially and could use it forever. Most of them are cultivated artificially, such as Chinese fir, cypress, Phoebe bournei, Ginkgo biloba and paulownia. Others grow naturally, such as Pterocarya stenoptera, Populus alba, Ligustrum lucidum and Betula platyphylla.

Although in modern times, due to the increasing population density and the sharp decline of forests in iron and steel smelting, it can still be called Canglin ancient wood, with shady seasons, winding streams, full of springs, winding paths like nets and vertical and horizontal traffic.
