If life and death are life and wealth in heaven, what is struggle?

The first lesson is "the study of life" and tells an interesting story. In his early years, the author met an old man named Kong, who divined for the author and worked out the fortune of his life. He was the first in the county exam and the first in the government exam. When he died last year, were there any descendants?

These things have been realized one by one, and the author believes them. So, I don't mind. Since everything is predestined, what's the use of my mind?

Later, I met Jackson Yungu in Qixia Mountain. Jackson Yungu found that he had no intention. After asking the reason, he lamented: I thought you were a hero, but in fact you are just an ordinary person.

The author asked why. The Zen master replied: everyone has a delusional heart, so they will be bound by the qi of Yin and Yang, and there will be mathematics. However, only mortals have mathematics. The extremely good people will not be bound by mathematics, and the extremely evil people will not be bound by mathematics. You have been killed by Mr. Kong for twenty years, and nothing has changed. So, aren't you an ordinary person?

The author found that mathematics is not dead. "But how many can escape?"

Yue: I create my life and I demand my own happiness. The Buddhist scripture says, "Seek wealth, men and women, men and women, and long life." Lying is a taboo for Buddhists.

This place gave me a great shock. I have always felt that the traditional culture of China is too superstitious, superstitious about fortune-telling. If so, what to live, read, try and do. Seeing this paragraph, I realized that I was superficial. Ignorance is terrible.

Because Mr. Kong Lao was a poor author and had no children, he died at the age of 53. Jackson Yungu asked the author, do you think you should be famous and have children?

Answer: No, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ... lists many reasons.

Jackson Yungu said that you shouldn't have more than fame and children. "Whoever enjoys a daughter in the world must be a daughter." What kind of situation a person has is decided by God according to what kind of person he is, not added casually. This is the same as Charles Munger's famous saying "The best way to get something is to make yourself worthy of it". The Zen master said, since you know why you can't have fame and children, why don't you change it?

"Once upon a time, like death yesterday; After all kinds, such as today's birth; This meaning is reborn. "

Later, the author actively did good deeds and changed his fate. Sure enough, the old man's prediction was not allowed. Mr. Kong counted him childless and died at the age of 53. And then I gave birth to a son. 53 years old, there is no catastrophe. When writing this book, he was 69 years old.

China's traditional culture is profound, so I can't judge whether fortune-telling is accurate or not, because I don't understand and dare not talk nonsense. However, the meaning conveyed by this story is very positive. In ancient times when fortune-telling was superstitious, there was also the ideology of "I make my life and I seek my happiness", which was really remarkable. This is also a very positive outlook on life in modern times.

Before and after meeting the Zen master, the author had two different world views and outlook on life, so he could have completely different life situations. I once wondered if everyone's fate was predestined from birth. If life and death are really a pie in the sky, there must be something in life sometimes. It is too negative to insist all the time. Destined in a few minutes, working hard in a few minutes is a reliable attitude towards life.

Just as the Book of Songs said, "Always say what you want to do and seek happiness for yourself". Always reflect on whether your actions are against your destiny and increase your happiness.
