Where do western Liaoning, eastern Liaoning, southern Liaoning and central Liaoning refer to?

Western Liaoning: refers to the area west of Liaohe River, western Liaoning Province and north of Shanhaiguan in Hebei Province.

Liaodong: refers to the area east of Liaohe River, that is, the eastern and southern parts of Liaoning Province.

Southern Liaoning: refers to southern Liaoning. In a narrow sense, it refers to Dalian, and in a broad sense, it also includes Yingkou, Anshan and Dandong. This area has a long history and profound cultural heritage.
