Historically, Jigong was good at poetry and prose, and his medical skills were brilliant. Why does he want to be a sloppy monk with wine and meat?

Jigong has a deep relationship with Buddhism. When he was born, his father asked the host of Buddhism to name him. Maybe he really had a relationship with Buddha, and finally he chose to become a monk because he saw through the world of mortals. But he is also a monk who likes to eat wine and meat, so he chooses fate. As he said, the wine and meat passed through the intestines, but the Buddha remained in his heart.

When Jigong was just born, he got this child because his father was in his forties. He thought this was the reason why he devoted himself to Buddhism. This is a gift from the Buddha, so he asked his master to name Jigong Li Xiuyuan. It was also the influence of family environment and his own destiny on Buddhism that made him finally see through the world of mortals and choose to convert to Buddhism.

He chose to travel around the world instead of being fixed in a temple. Although he is a monk, he is a fair-weather monk. He believes that the most important thing in a person's life is to follow his heart and do what he thinks. Such a life is a meaningful life. So he didn't deliberately control himself when he wanted to eat meat and drink, so there was a saying that wine, meat and monks helped the public.

Jigong especially likes to help people when traveling in the clouds. Whenever he meets a sick person, he will go up the mountain to collect herbs for others. He is also a person who is willing to fight against injustice, and he is willing to teach each other a lesson as long as he sees unfair places. In addition, his attainments in literature and poetry are relatively high, so people gave him a name, Jigong Living Buddha.

Jigong warned others not to learn from himself because he followed his heart all his life. But in fact, this man is a very respectable person. When he died, I heard that many people were too sad to be themselves. This also fully shows that he has done a lot of good things, making people want to remember him all the time.
