The story of the artist

Beethoven never got married (though he kept falling in love with some rich girls), and his loneliness became more and more serious. As the guardian of his incompetent nephew Carl, worrying about children didn't improve his temper. His behavior is extremely rude and his relationship with the publisher tends to be tense. By 18 19, he was completely deaf. At the end of his life, he wrote some of the greatest and most thoughtful works: the last five string quartets, the last five piano sonatas, the ninth symphony and the solemn mass. In these works, he broke away from the pain of his personal life and entered the future art field. Although these works had great influence on later generations, they were not understood at that time. The Ninth Symphony is one of the main sources of Wagner's inspiration. The string quartet influenced Bartok; Sir Michael Kemp Tippett claimed that he benefited a lot from Beethoven's other piano sonatas. 1826, Beethoven's health became worse and worse after his nephew attempted suicide. The next year, when he was bedridden, London Philharmonic Orchestra sent a check for 100, which prompted him to write the tenth symphony mentally, but he had to go further. The doctor diagnosed edema as the cause of his sudden death.

Wang Xizhi's Story-Dong Chuang's son-in-law

Separated from Weishan Island by water, there is a big tomb on the mountain. There is a unified stone tablet in front of the tomb, which reads: "Tomb of Chi Jian, Taiwei of the Eastern Jin Dynasty", written by Wang Xizhi, a great calligrapher of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. ?

Chi Jian is from Jinxiang. When I was a teenager, my family was so poor that I couldn't even eat. He is intelligent, studious, virtuous and famous for his elegance. Everyone wants him to be famous, so they donate food and money to help him, so he studies hard and keeps making progress, and soon he will be all-rounder. After Emperor Si Marui of the Eastern Jin Dynasty ascended the throne, he named Chi Jian General Long Xiang and Yanzhou Secretariat. Later, he ascended the throne and was promoted to general, in charge of the military affairs of Xu, Yan and Qing. During the reign of Xianhe, he was made a great contribution by starting an army according to the order, and he was named Qiu. In the imperial court, in addition to the civilian prime minister Wang Dao, is the military attache Qiu. ?

Chi Jian has a daughter who is 28 years older than her. She was born talented and good-looking, and Ji Jia 'ai was the apple of her eye. My daughter is not married yet, so I have to choose a husband for her. Such a baby needs to find a suitable family. Chi Jian felt that Wang Dao, the prime minister, had a deep friendship with himself and was an official with the DPRK. He heard that there are many children in his family, all of whom are talented and beautiful. One morning, I told the Prime Minister Wang my idea of choosing a spouse. Prime Minister Wang said, "Well, there are many children in my family, so you can choose at home. I will agree with whoever you like. " Ask the confidant housekeeper to bring a generous gift to the Prime Minister's house. When the children in Wang Fu heard that Qiu Xi sent someone to find her husband, they all dressed up and came out to meet each other. Looking around, one person is missing. The housekeeper took the housekeeper to the study of the East Cross Court and found a young man lying on his back on the bed near the east wall, indifferent to Qiu's search for a husband. When the housekeeper of Xi's mansion returned to the mansion, she said to Taiwei Xi, "I heard that Xi's mansion is looking for a husband, and there are more than twenty younger sons in the mansion, all vying for it. There is only one son lying on the east bed, and nothing happens. " Chi Jian said, "This is the kind of person I want to choose. Go and show me! " When Chi Jian came to Wang Fu, he saw that this man was both enlightened and elegant, talented and handsome. He got a dowry on the spot and chose him as his son-in-law. This is how the phrase "son-in-law in the east bed" came from.

This "son-in-law" Wang Xizhi later became a famous calligrapher, and was later called a "book saint". ?

In addition, when Chi Jian was seriously ill in his later years, he told his family: "I have always respected Sean, the son of the benevolent, the son of the wise and Mu Yi, the son of the military elite. Not far from their graves, there is a beautiful hill between Xu (Zhou) and Yan (Zhou). I served in my jurisdiction for a long time and was buried here after my death. " Wang Xizhi also wrote inscriptions for his father-in-law. Later, this nameless hill was called "Mount Li".

194 1 65438+February, the day when Japan invaded Hong Kong, Mei Lanfang (Peking Opera actor, 1894- 1) who stayed in Hong Kong grew a moustache. A few days later, a thick black beard hung on her face. His youngest son, Mei Shaowu, asked curiously, "Dad, why don't you shave?"

Mei Lanfang replied, "I have a moustache. Can the Japanese still force me to act? "

Soon, he returned to Shanghai, lived in the Plum Blossom Poetry Hall, and closed the door to welcome guests. He often paints under the desk lamp in his study, and makes a living by selling paintings and pawning them year after year. Several theater owners in Shanghai, seeing that his life was getting worse and worse, quickly invited him out to act, but they were politely declined.

One day, Chu Minyi, the leader of Wang Puppet Government, suddenly broke into Mei Lanfang's house and asked him to lead the troupe to perform in Nanjing, Changchun and Tokyo to celebrate the first anniversary of the so-called "Great East Asian War Victory".

Mei Lanfang once pointed to his lips and said calmly, "I am old. I haven't hanged myself yet. I have left the stage."

Chu Minyi smiled cunningly: "You can shave your moustache and your throat will be restored. Ha ha ha ... "

The laughter did not fall, but I heard a sarcastic remark from Mei Lanfang: "I heard that you always like to play with tickets, and the big face sings very well." I want you, as the head of the troupe, to lead the troupe to express your condolences. Aren't you much stronger than me? Why should I 1 ChuMinYi heard that, chubby face suddenly stopped laughing, turned red and white, mumbled a few words, and left awkwardly.

One evening, Qi Baishi was sitting by the pond washing his feet, and he was accidentally pricked by a grass shrimp clamp and bled. As a result, Qi Baishi became interested in painting shrimp, which was unacceptable from now on. Qi Baishi's shrimp painting is famous all over the world, and it was at this time that it began.

1867 (the sixth year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty), Qi Baishi's younger brother Song Chun was born in Xiaolin. 1870, the third brother was reborn in spring. When the years were bad and the population increased, Qi Baishi had to keep learning to help at home. During the three years from 187 1 to 1873, Qi Baishi was young and was able to do many things at home, carrying water, growing vegetables, sweeping the floor, taking two younger brothers to play and chopping wood. The game they like to play is to chop bamboo poles as horses. This simple game brought great happiness to Qi Baishi when he was a child.

Qi Baishi helps his family, and no matter how busy and tired he is, he will never forget to study. He has a strong thirst for knowledge. He kept in mind his grandfather's words that reading can be done anywhere and should be done. Every day when he goes up the mountain to herd cattle and take care of his second brother, Qi Baishi takes books with him. When chopping wood and collecting dung, hang the book on the corner first and read it after you finish your work. I not only reviewed some books I learned in Mongolian Museum, but also wrote down the words I didn't understand and didn't know in reading of the analects of confucius, and then I asked my grandfather after accumulating them for a period of time. Gradually, I actually finished reading The Analects.

Besides reading, Qi Baishi insists on writing and drawing every day. He made up his mind to be a painter, Rainbow Mian. Under such circumstances, Qi Baishi developed the habit of studying hard. Although hard, he was happy and full. Later, he carved the seal "I hung the corner of a book" as a souvenir.

Qi Baishi was weak and sickly since childhood. He helps his family every day and often reads until late at night. My grandmother was worried about his poor health, so she invited a blind man to tell Qi Baishi's fortune, and hung a bronze bell and an inscription. Quot There is no bronze medal of Amitabha in South China. Unfortunately, in the early years of the Republic of China, the copper bell and bronze medal were lost.

Later, Qi Baishi remembered the kindness of his grandmother and mother, specially copied a set and hung it around his waist, and wrote a poem:

Grandma began to cheer up when she heard the bell.

I also hung the horn to herd cattle.

Children and grandchildren still plough the spring rain,

I am always sweating like a pig.

Apricot blossom wind in Xingtang area,

The yellow calf went to the east and returned to the east.

The bell on my body is maternal love,

Now it is also called the bell ringer.

1March 9, 874, Qi Baishi, 12 years old, married fellow countryman Chen Chunjun as a child bride. Child brides are mostly children of poor families with large population and poor family circumstances. Chen Chunjun was born in February 1863, 13, one year older than Qi Baishi. The living conditions of her family are similar to those of Qi Baishi. She has been used to working at home since she was a child. Young as she is, she is a good housekeeper. Qi Baishi's whole family likes her very much.

There are unexpected events in the sky. Qi Baishi had just been married for three months when his grandfather died. It was the Dragon Boat Festival. This is like a bolt from the blue for Qi Baishi, and it is the first unfortunate thing he encountered in his life.

After his grandfather died, Qi Baishi felt much older. In addition to his father, the labor force at home is Qi Baishi. As the eldest son, he must help his father shoulder the burden of life.

After this change, the life of Qi Baishi's family was even more difficult. Looking at his father's exhausted appearance in the field, Qi Baishi wished he could not grow up any faster.

1875 at the turn of spring and summer, the rain in Hunan is particularly heavy, and the green and yellow are not connected. Qi Baishi's family broke down again, so he had to dig some wild vegetables to satisfy his hunger. Life is really miserable!

1876, Qi Baishi's fourth brother was born, named Chun Pei and Fang Lin. /kloc-When he was 0/4 years old, Qi Baishi began to help his father farm. Qi Baishi's family grows paddy fields. Rice seedlings have to soak in water all day, bend over and work all day, and even don't bother to eat rice.

Everything beautiful and vital in life has infinite attraction to Qi Baishi. He often squats beside flowers and plants, carefully observes the shapes of stamens and petals, and compares the different petals between flowers. He observed the growth of leaves, branches and trunks, and even clearly understood the veins and textures of leaves. The collision at the farmer's table is excusable and resistant to dilution. What's the saying? 3R Huan? Why don't you catch up with Fu? Hey, just?

One evening, after a day's work, Qi Baishi sat by the pool and washed his feet. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain. He hurriedly pulled his foot out of the water and saw that it was a grass shrimp that pinched his toe out of blood. This aroused Qi Baishi's great interest in grass shrimp. After careful observation of grass shrimp, he drew the first shrimp in his life, which was lifelike and never stopped. Qi Baishi's shrimp painting is famous all over the world, and it began at this time.

Qi Baishi once painted a picture of a small fish. After painting, he wrote:

"This kind of fish is commonly known as hemp fiber fish, and its tail is like it." Cheeks are a little green and tails are a little red. "

In Qi Baishi's eyes, everything has its own characteristics, and the rules should not be messed up when painting. For example, a rose: "its thorns grow downward, so it often cares about people's clothes." Another example is wisteria: "The wisteria in the south is full of flowers and leaves, and the wisteria in the north is flowering first and then leaves, otherwise it will be interesting."

Qi Baishi, who later became a master, produced a touching image of little life and a simple image of wild flowers and weeds, which largely benefited from his strong feelings about life when he was young.

In Qi Baishi's works, flowers, birds, insects and fish, especially the ink, shrimps and crabs he painted, are not the reappearance of objects between paper and pen, but are endowed with happy and prosperous figures, infinite nostalgia, infinite vitality and magical charm from an artistic point of view, which makes people feel cordial, excited and reverie.

Everyone has a lovely hometown, and everyone has an unforgettable childhood. Qi Baishi has formed an indissoluble bond with these most familiar little lives since his hometown and childhood. Even if he lives far away in Beijing, he keeps some shrimps and crabs in a glass jar, carefully pondering and observing them, so that he can draw them easily.

The language of painting is the same as that of poetry, both lyrical and emotional. Writing about grass worms and expressing affection for the countryside not only embodies the painter's enduring childlike innocence, but also embodies the painter's strong local flavor.
