Evolution of organizational system in Shangqiu county

In the 24th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1545), Shangzhou County was established in Dezhou.

The Qing Dynasty attacked the Ming Dynasty, still called Shangqiu County, which was the seat of the government.

At the end of the Republic of China, Shangqiu County was a big county. Today Mamuji, Zhan Ji, Huangzhong, Dianji, Gushu, Yingkuo and Duji in Yucheng County, Jiyang in Xiayi County, all of Shangqiu City and Shangqiu County today belong to Shangqiu County, with a total area of 2,500 square kilometers. By 1949, the county has a population of 840,000.

1948165438+1October 6, Shangqiu was liberated and the first administrative region of Henan, Anhui and Jiangsu was established.

1March, 949, the first administrative region of Henan, Anhui and Jiangsu was changed to Shangqiu area to establish Zhu market.

Shangqiu city was established in June 1948+065438+ 10/8. There are two towns in the county: Datong and Aibo.

1949 was assigned to Shangqiu county in March. At the same time, the county set up 18 district, and soon abolished Shunhe District and Yingguo District, and added dock wall area.

1On May 25th, 950, the people's government of Henan Province decided to rebuild Chengguan District of Shangqiu County into Shangqiu City (soon changed to the first district of Shangqiu City). The county still retains 16 area. There are 278 townships under the jurisdiction of this district. That year, Shangqiu County had a population of 830,000.

195 1 July, Shangqiu secret service divided the eight districts under the jurisdiction of Shangqiu County into Gushu County: Huangzhong, Jiyang, Zhan Ji, Dianji, Duji, Mamu, Platform and Dock Wall. There are eight districts in the county, namely Guantang, Guocun, Ma Le, Maobadui, Gaoxin, Yanji, Liukou and Xieji. In August, 195 1, Zhuji Market and Shangqiu City merged into Shangqiu City.

1June, 954, the State Council decided to cancel the organizational system of Gushu County. In September, the platform and dock wall areas under the jurisdiction of Gushi County were assigned to Shangqiu County. At this time, there are 10 districts in the whole county, but Jeffery Ji, Xiao Huang Zhuang, Songguanmiao Township in the platform area and Yingkuo, Gaolou, Laoji, Chen Qiao, Liuxing and Menglou Township in the wharf area are classified as Yucheng County. The population of this county is 570,000.

1 June 9971the State Council's reply (Guo Han [1997] No.46): Shangqiu area, county-level Shangqiu city and Shangqiu county were abolished, and Shangqiu city (prefecture-level city) was established. At the same time, Shangqiu (prefecture-level city) municipal districts are established: Suiyang District and liangyuan district. Zhiyang District has jurisdiction over four towns, namely Guancun, Guocun, Likou and songji, and four towns, namely Chengbei, Liuhe, Wangfen, Ma Le, Yanji, Loudian, Qiao Feng, Gaoxin, Wuqiang, Linhedian, Maogudui, Baogong Temple 12. Liangyuan district has jurisdiction over three streets of Baba, Xiangyang and Dongfeng in Shangqiu City, four towns of Zhuang Yuan, Zhouzhuang and Liuheizhuang in Shangqiu County, three towns of Shuangba, Zhangge and Xieji, and eight towns of Lizhuang, Wang Lou, Liukou, Guantang, Platform, Zhou Ji, Shuizipu and Sunfuji.

On may 20 1 1, Shangqiu new district (deputy department level) was officially approved by the Henan provincial government for construction. Up to now, Shangqiu has jurisdiction over 4 districts 1 city and 6 counties (liangyuan district, Suiyang District, Shangqiu New District, Economic Development Zone, yongcheng city, Zhecheng County, Yucheng County, Xiayi County, Ningling County, Minquan County and Xiayi County).
