Introduction to Yuetang

Yuetang is located in the northwest of Yizheng City, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, with Xieji Township in the east, Maji Town in the south, Babai Town in Liuhe District in the west and Yuxing Township in Tianchang City, Anhui Province in the north. The administrative area is 79.3 square kilometers, including 64,607.2 mu of cultivated land and 20,009.2 mu of water. It is a famous old revolutionary base in Jiangsu and a patriotic education base in Yangzhou. Proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation, such as Wu, Li, Li and so on, once fought and worked here. It is the seat of the first anti-Japanese democratic government in Yizheng County after the New Fourth Army went north.
